I rode in something like this once.
It was like being on a flying carpet!
Quoted from grantopia:Not a pinball...but for $100 I think I'll be able to look past that. The wood laminate however...that is not long for this world.

Ringer! Nice score!

Lucky dog. You suck
Quoted from 20eyes:Just brought these three home. Only one of them is mine but I couldn't resist a picture of them together.

Very cool Mr. Misfit!
This head turns out to be the long-lost mate for the body I have. The husband was getting divorced, the wife took the heads and sold them to a local pinball guy about a half hour away.
He died less than a year later, and some covid-Pinballer with more money than brains bought all of them to “fix”
So he spent several months trying to make a Mini Pool (AAB) head fit onto a Target Pool (Replay) body.
Obviously doesn’t work, but can’t help those types!
I’m very grateful for Murphdom negotiating for this mismatched pair! Love Mini Pool and I’m so thrilled I can play my own.

Got this Target Pool body for Murphdom and the Mini Pool head for my machine!

Both of those games are butt kickers, and the Super Neo 29 is my favorite candy! Awesome little collection.

A Midway Sea Raider going into drydock!
Sure hope I can save it from sinking to the bottom!
Damn the Torpedo's, full speed ahead!

Damn that is sweet ! I remember playing that game many times while waiting for the movie theatre to open it’s doors. Great score!!!

Welcome, and congratulations!!

Dove in and became a first time home pin owner, with a NIB AIQ Premium…..
Apparently the first machine multiplies, is that right…?
[quoted image][quoted image]
Oh yes that is right. Hope the Mrs is ok with pins in the bedroom cause if you get it bad enought that’s where they can end up lol.
Welcome mate and enjoy this hugely addictive hobby.

Haha thank’s for that!
She’s good with it - on her whim we also took a 60 game tabletop at the same time… lol
Had been wanting a pin for a fair while, and there wasn’t going to be a better opportunity than when this came up nib and available locally.

5 years in and I'm coming up on 100 pins.
Took me awhile to figure out what I liked.

Well they were not all here at the same time! Peak was 36, I'm down to 32 which is still a touch unwieldy. Colsond3 is scheduled to pick one up in a week or two and I might sell another as I'm thinking about having the title as "a module" in my universal Bally/Stern cabinet.

I am slowing down now that I figured out what I like.
Quoted from Jakers:Picked up a Creature last week. It needs the green LEDs pulled but it’s a very nice example otherwise. I’m starting to really like my classics lineup.

Nice lineup! I wish I wouldn’t have sold my Drac. Someday he’ll be back.

You mean you like all of them, like most of us?
Quoted from MikeO:You mean you like all of them, like most of us?
Nah I'm somewhat picky.
Game has to fire on all 3 major points; gameplay, theme and sound package. Ive taken to trying before searching one out or just outright picking one up and giving it a spin. Worse case if I don't like it just move along. I don't trust most online reviews as too many have some axe to grind or go the other direction too much.

This little guy arrived today, too:

I'll light one up in your honor. Well done!
Presently in my house but not yet at it's new home is this unique and quirky 1980 Gottlieb Time Line. The game was listed for sale by a new Pinsider about an hour north of me in Dayton, OH. A very good friend in Maryland fell in love with Time Line at Replay FX and his Pinside wish list spotted the ad. Being the equally good friend, I accepted his request to buy this game and transport it to Maryland in a few weeks.
Now, before you think that this is a super kind act and start smashing my Upvote button, I was already set to travel to this same friends place to buy his equally quirky 1964 Williams Stop N Go for another good friend of mine that lives in Iowa who wants it for the theme. My Iowa friend and I collect and restore antique traffic signals and Stop N Go will be his first pinball machine. There is a limit to my generosity as that game is stopping at my house and not going to Iowa until he comes to pick it up.
...of course I have a couple traffic signal purchases to pickup in Maryland along the way

This is what makes this hobby great!

I've definitely done a bunch of moving in and out over the 3 years I've been doing this (pretty sure I'm still in the 30s though) but 100 pins...my God
I've got room for 8 in my main row (my Slugfest flies solo in a corner across the room, it looks super goofy next to the pins anyway).
I spent today breaking down BK2K and Bad Cats and bringing them into my garage, ready to deliver 2.5 hours south in a week. Taxi slid back in (from storage) temporarily, but it's eventually going to my friend's. I'm hoping to replace it with a TNA 2.0 and ideally... I'm hoping my row stays configured that way for a good while. Gorgar and Mata Hari, plus a long term Galaxy->Quicksilver conversion are hanging out in my shop, but I only intend on keeping QS, and I'll have to scrape the row again if/when that actually comes together.
I still haven't figured out "what I like", per se. It kind of varies I guess. I like to have variety and with space for only 8 it makes it a bit of a challenge.
