Great choice!! Such a great pin.
What are those handles? Look super handy

Those bolt on handles... liking them
They would be excellent for those pesky , non grippable Gottlieb System 3's

Love the new hair style!

GregCon made my pinball moving handles after I had repaired his resetting issue on TZ.
Time to give the game a go!

GregCon Got some plans for the handles? Cool idea!
Agreed! Kind of genius!
Quoted from waymon:GregCon Got some plans for the handles? Cool idea!
The handles were really PM40's invention that I made to his request. I've made several sets....but they do take enough labor and materials such that there is really no money to be made, etc. Some were powdercoated but later ones were painted to lower the cost. Another Pinside guy has a set and is looking into having them made as more of a mass production effort....I'm not sure where that stands. They're easy to make 'sloppy' but a lot more difficult to make if you want them to look and feel right.
They are very useful as they give you a good confident hold on the machine. Very good for taking machines up and down stairs, too.

Quite cool getting the 10 replay award. Looks great and definitely an underrated pin.

These are awesome. You should call them “pallbearers.” Or, “Pin-Pallbearers.”Copyright: Pinkitten.

Here you have another version of this idea: https://www.led4pin.eu/en/bee-lift.html
I know from the supplier that making them properly is indeed more costly as expected. I use them for moving my pins up and down the stairs, very handy indeed.
My sons having a baby so his “fun” room is being converted to a nursery. Gave this to him for Xmas a few years ago so I’ll be keeping it for him till they get a bigger place. Best music pin out there in my opinion. Throw in a sub and it’s on !!

Yes, we looked at making a single bar but decided to make individual handles so they would work on widebody or standard body games. Also, the individual handles can be mounted along the sides, like carrying a coffin, as well.
None of the parts are off the shelf and since they'll be depended on to carry a valuable machine...they need to be welded properly. They also need to be fabricated 'square' and equal so one side is not cocked off at an angle. The ends get capped to prevent tear-through of the grips and/or cutting your hand.
I haven't bought any materials since prices went up but these were about $160 for a set of four in the old days.

Congrats. Hope I find a full size pinball machine at a yard sale someday. Found a pachinko last weekend but they wanted too much for it.

I'm still not sure how this qualifies as a pinball machine, but it is in the EM Top 100.[quoted image][quoted image]
Wow, that matchbox display carousel takes me back….brilliant.Great room.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Nevermind about perfect box just noticed foot prints on top ![quoted image]
You have to specifically label the box “no walking or dancing on top.” Otherwise, anything goes.

I know man! luckily, I took the lid off and everything ok from what I can tell.. phew. Crazy someone would want to even walk on top of these boxes. Could easily cave in and cause massage damage/injury I would think.

I would imagine people walk on those boxes before they open them up to put a pin inside. So hopefully it didnt happen while your pin was in it.

Doubt that’s the situation here if u look at the pallet straps the foot prints are also on it ! add another thing to look out for boys !

Thanks. I was looking for a neat way to display them and remembered this carousel that used to sit on my local hobby stores counter. Eventually found this one on the Mecum auction site.

On my work table. Getting ready to shop
I remember getting into arcade collecting and seeing pinball guys thinking you were all crazy with so many expensive machines. Then I started playing a bit and before I knew it I was dropping more on an Iron Maiden than I'd paid for anything in my life other than my car. Everyone told me once you get one you can't stop and I didn't think that would be the case for me. Well here I am today haha. Just brought home a very nice Metallica premium and boy is it fun. What a spectacle, this machine is unbelievably cool.
PXL_20220604_231620685 (resized).jpgNice game! IMO the best LE art package that's been produced to date.

It looks like it’s on skis which is funny considering the game. Just thought I’d point that out.

And, he is waiting in Waitsfield.
2 days after picking up TOM, we were back at the sellers house to bring IJ to its new home. Exceptional original playfield 8.5/10, all original with no mods either, still incandescent all round. Cabinet is a 5/10. Back box too. those will need addressing for both fade and water damage to the wood (back panel of backbox, And the front of the cabinet “floor”). Plastics are in great shape and maybe 3-4 need replacement. Clears are clear and not yellow tinted. What a week. Makes the jjp reveal out of the question for me.

I think it’s one of Gottlieb best games!
