Quoted from hawkeyexx:Purchased a Dale jr. We are 2nd owner. The original owner purchased it NIB in 2007 because he was a Dale jr fan. The pin has never been cleaned or serviced. It had the original batteries in it. It showing a low number of plays.

No leakage. Super lucky!
Quoted from bigguybbr:Exactly. You soak your yellowed plastics in a solution of hydrogen peroxide and Oxyclean and leave it in the sun. Works like a champ.
This gets rid of the yellowing without hurting the artwork on the plastics? I’ll have to read up more on this.

Work great on white Legos too. Did that to a bunch in preparation for a sale. I've been tempted to try it on a plastic, but am a bit afraid it will mess them up somehow. Will maybe pick up a spare on ebay and try with that one first.

It'll fade or totally remove the artwork off PF plastics - I thought I'd seen a retrobrite thread on Pinside but can't find the specific one I was thinking of however if you typed in retrobrite to the Pinside search you'll find plenty of threads and posts on the subject

Yup. Done a dozen or so Super Nintendos over the years. Works awesome

Novus 2 works great on playfield plastics and won’t harm the artwork.
Quoted from MrMikeman:Picked it up last week but power has been out after a crazy storm. My first EM Project. Was not working but it’s almost 100% now. Easier than I thought to troubleshoot(with schematics).

PF and BG are flawless on it. Seems like a hardtop as I doubt they made full pf mylars for protection back then.
It’s pretty interesting. I’m not a fan of EM’s. Got this for my wife who wanted a retro game. However i found that I do enjoy it. It’s simple without being easy. Just wish it had chimes instead of electronic sounds but it does have a bell for the high value shot.

That is a good layout - I can see where it would be fun to play. At one time I had an extensive EM collection. Just changed over at one point. I miss some of the EM's I had. Though play can be slower than modern games they can be just as much fun and are enjoyable when you get to know them.
You will enjoy that game !

Nice combo!
Quoted from smoothbore19:Not a pin but a nice shape 8ft coin operated Dynamo air hockey
Sweet!
I always wanted one of those, and my current girlfriend that is a keeper, I asked air hockey or ping pong table for the space I have for a large game, and she hates air hockey, so ended up with a ping pong table.
Variety is nice!

Here's a shot of the battery area in the Hs2 I recently acquired. Newer batteries also.

Looks like you have previous battery damage from before the newer batteries were installed. I can see green stuff growing on some of the resistors, white corrosion on the bottom right battery contact, U16 and U20 have some damaged pins, and a chance there is some on your pins of J212.

Cool looking game, but what happened to that poor lockdown bar?
Quoted from poppapin:Cool looking game, but what happened to that poor lockdown bar?
Wish I knew. Looks like a bullet hole doesn't it?
Looked up the Serial number database and this particular game was registered (with pic) some years ago in Canada and the lockdown bar was already damaged at that time. Looks like someone tried to pry it off instead of just drilling the coin door lock. Coin door has pry marks as well.
Unfortunately this is the uber rare "button style" lockdown bar. If I can't find an appropriate replacement I'll switch the game to the shark fin style lockdown bar and receiver.
Few other issues too. Glass is slightly too long and is plate glass. Wish I hadn't been a nice guy and given away my spare sheets of glass. Uggh.

Knock out most of the "dent" have a welder fill the hole, grind, sand and polish.
Quoted from gdonovan:Knock out most of the "dent" have a welder fill the hole, grind, sand and polish.
The problem is access. The welded on back side is even more bent, twisted, and damaged. I’d have to find a way to separate the top from the back, undent them both, then re-weld them.
Maybe my son who is a welder has an idea on how to separate both parts without damage.

Very nice.. it's amazing, I've seen a few of these, and the PF is always perfect.. that Euro finish really delivered.

They make tools for drilling spot welds, lots of ways to skin that cat if you have the time.
Quoted from JustJared:BM 66 and a wrestlemania. Wrestlemania needs a good shop job. Looking forward to working on something and playing both. I don't expect to see BM going anywhere anytime soon.

Nice pickups.
Don't forget to update Wrestlemania to the latest code. The game gets a bad wrap because most people have only played it on the older code.

Will do. I'm laid up for the moment due to surgery, but will be on it first thing tuesday.

I can afford a replacement but I prefer the challenge of the fix. I will look into it. See how nice I can make it

I believe it's a hardtop. Or at the very least it's a full pf mylar. Not sure if the artwork would stay if I removed the mylar.

Yeah, that is how they came originally.. just a great bullet proof finish.

Fun game, had one for awhile, still the heaviest pin I ever owned, the cabinet is a beast! I loved the crickets chirping while waiting to plunge the ball.
