Quoted from Grayman_EM:Gorf brings back memories for me. I remember it from when I was younger and not one you see as much. I never played it but watched other people enjoy the game.
There was one in the local bowling alley (long reduced to rubble) played the heck out of it back in the day.
ha.ha.ha.ha.

It looks in great condition and I hope you enjoy it or trade for one you do. Excalibur I have never seen before but looks good also.
I remember playing gorf on the colecovision back in the day. That game, and venture were so much fun..

Oh man........ Venture!!!
Picked up another one (3rd) in a matter of 2 weeks!
Won this one on a local estate auction site. Didn’t really think my 1000.00 bid was gonna hold, but sometimes you get lucky ♂️ .
Now I just need to see if I have a driver board laying around somewhere. The auction listing of course didn’t mention it was missing from the game. :-/

Nice score for $1k! The playfield doesn't look too bad and the ramps look okay as well. Even with a missing board that looks like a nice restore candidate. I paid more for mine and it needed new playfield, ramps, and plastics. $$$$$
Here's the restore series on YouTube in case it might help with your project.

No, it’s just the regular one.
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:Also got an Earthshaker
Looking for one of those ... you can sell it to me and avoid getting cat hair in the Cabinet
Congratulations Chris ...

And a bit of extra loose change in the coin return!
Just got my second ever pinball (First was my dream pin: Dungeons & Dragons).
Bally Lost World 1978. Original owners selling it. Home-use-only. Looks in really good shape, but needs a good cleaning. Came with original manual and schematics, all the keys for coin door and backbox, extra fuses, extra light bulbs, extra instruction cards for the apron... extra of a lot of things! One flipper disconnected (it was there behind the coin door) and the rubbers need replaced, along with a good clean and wax of the playfield... but otherwise it's in complete working condition. Still sitting in the van after a long drive to get it. Will have to unload tomorrow and get some better pictures.
pasted_image (resized).pngpasted_image (resized).pngIt’s not home yet but I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning as I am SUPER excited to have finally landed this grail and wish list game Bally Cross Country from 1963. Been searching for over 3 years for one to come available and finally convinced a very good friend to sell. Watch for a Cross Country thread to explain why this first true Ted Zale Bally game means so much to me. 5D923C96-5247-4C39-820B-269D82B28323 (resized).jpeg9384F643-DB1F-4550-A7C3-1983065B1AE1 (resized).jpegD5AF8417-89D9-4791-BBEB-161159CFE09C (resized).jpeg
Quoted from Boof-Ed:Alien arrived today. A few issues had to be resolved before I could set it up. Now it’s time to flip!

Gee whiz; you're going to flip it already?!...

I’m lucky to have any space in our house for pins. I was worried about sun-fade, but our windows are Pella with UV protection, and that’s a north window with no direct light, so maybe I’ll dodge that little problem.

You could move to Alaska I heard not much sun-fade in that area. But I would buy a coat I heard it gets cold up there.

I should note that Norcalpin was the gentleman who sold me this lovely game. A great pinsider. Thanks!

I think I speak for everyone here, well done on that beard! I wish I could pull that off. My wife would show me the door.

Congrats on your find! Now, help me out with the theme here. I love these old Gottliebs. The themes could be pretty complex/more going on than at first glance. This one confused me. Love the art!

We had that discussion about an hour ago. I think it's performance/ theater with an emphasis on music. Obviously the focal point is the woman on the right hence the title.
I couldn't care less about the theme I love the rules. Spell either slick or chick in order or hit a standup or rollover that spots the word for you. Lot of mechanical clunking when you do.
I played the snot out of this game on the computer back in the late 1990's that's why I've been wanting this machine.

Thanks! Congrats on finding a nice one. I do love the art from that era. Some of them are just slightly creepy and some weird things going on, if you look for it. Enjoy your game!

If you make it over to MN look me up and put some games on it along with the rest of the collection.

Ditto if you come to Michigan…
I’m pretty sure Slick Chick theme is trading on the popularity of the playboy clubs of the time without actually infringing on the name or image copyrights.
Last week I picked up a very nice Champion Pub (I think it's HUO).
It's a machine I have fond childhood memories of.
It temporarily stands downstairs before seeing the rest of the machines upstairs.
Nice to know. It has a piece of (I believe) No Good Gofers in the cabinet. The picture I took is not so good.

There's an interesting back story on how that game got it's name. Was originally going to be called "Party Girls", but for some reason, David Gottlieb thought that name was too risqué.
