Another day and another machine ... but this one is my first NIB!

More than I could have ever asked for. Looks like it will clean up nicely though.

Was part of a package deal my buddy and I picked up. Was going to sell it, but after playing it... it grew on me and I liked it. Plus it will look good next to my Flip Flop once i get it done.

Pretty stoked. Picked them up today.

Hey! I bought my CV for $19,000 too! See, things haven’t changed in 24 years. Oh, wait. JK. I didn’t pay 10x what he paid. Only 5x.

Isn't that Chicago Coin next to the Amigo ? I can't think of the name but I have the the woman on it.

Stampede
Quoted from sulli10:all 3 of these are CQ quality.
Soooooo. That’s Collector Quality quality?
Quoted from MrMikeman:Soooooo. That’s Collector Quality quality?
Extra quality collectors quality.
Quoted from Canuck_pinhead:You buying it in installments?
All at once. It was in a basement. Gottlieb’s of that era are VERY heavy almost worse than TZ. Takes a little extra time to move but beats throwing your back out or getting pinned under the game.
Quoted from sulli10:Big day yesterday. Going back to B/W 1990’s vintage. Have owned all three before, but all 3 of these are CQ quality.

Lol, just being a little redundant.

My all-time greatest find was a CV. I paid $300 (yes, $300.00) for an essentially unplayed CV. Story is this. The arcade at Winrock Center in Albuquerque put their games on sale the day after Thanksgiving (mid 90s through about 2002). The deals were always good, with 2-4 year old pins going for anywhere from $800-2000. I made a point of stopping by first thing to check out the offerings. Sometime around 1999/2000 I ran into the manager the morning after Thanksgiving. He said they had an “inoperable” pin in the back, was I interested? Sure! He shows me a spotless CV. Say’s it doesn’t work. $300 if I take it as-is. I hit up the ATM, and 30 minutes later, the CV is in the back of my truck.
Problem was a blown 5V rectifier. The most common problem on WPC/WPC95 driver boards. 10 minutes later, the game is fully working…
Like all my 90s pins, I sold the CV off in the mid-2000s. I’ve never topped that deal, however.
And to keep this on-topic, brought this home last week…. Getting back into pins now that I have a place to put them.

Stern Stampede. My buddy is keeping that one for himself.

Great story and an amazing $300 steal. Congrats on the Houdini too! I had one and I should have kept it longer. Very fun pin with an awesome art package.
Rush pro in today, Rush pro out today.
Friend bought it from me.
It was going to go in the bowling alley. Got tired of waiting on it and bought a Godzilla pro for there instead.
No picture, it was just a box anyway, lol.
They aren’t home yet, but picked these up yesterday.
Got them for a super good price.
Not a fan of the Excalibur. It’s in great shape, just not my cup of tea.
Will probably trade it after I play it awhile.

Man, are those saucers even possible to hit?
EDIT: Ah, disregard.. I see now that they're probably fed by the habitrails.. Was looking at the flipper-to-saucer shots and those looked impossible.

LOL, yes the ball exits off the ramp from the wireforms into the hole in the plastic, and then rolls down into the saucer. And then ejects down the inlanes

Gorf brings back memories for me. I remember it from when I was younger and not one you see as much. I never played it but watched other people enjoy the game. It looks in great condition and I hope you enjoy it or trade for one you do. Excalibur I have never seen before but looks good also.
