Jeez, you guys. I thought it would take longer than 40 seconds to get a correct answer.

Interesting story behind this: I've been thinking about doing a re-theme project for a while and decided that Flash is my ideal donor game (awesome layout, terrible artwork, high production run). After two slipped through my fingers, I found this playfield on Craigslist five miles from my house. It's dirty and parts are missing but it's only $200 and I can work with that.

I sent the seller an email on Sunday - no response.
I emailed again on Monday - no response.
I emailed again on Tuesday and mentioned that I'm local and have cash.

He responded that he's going to put it up on Ebay to try to get a higher price.

I told him that I'd pay $250 and he wouldn't have to deal with Ebay fees, PayPal, crating it up and getting it to a shipper. He agreed and I showed up a few hours later. He turned out to be a really nice guy with stacks of pin and vid projects, circuit boards, controllers and panels in various states of disrepair all around his office.

So my project has started in earnest! I'm going to start a thread to chronicle the long process from the junk pile to a working machine.

Got this one from my local pawn shop, a Zaccaria Circus! Delivered yesterday. Although the cabinet has got some scratches the playfield is in mint condition, looks like it straight from the factory in Italy!

Clean! Looks great...

HUO (has the receipt from Sharper Image), super low plays, zero playfield wear. You can practically count the new PF dimples

One of my longest trips, 760 miles and over 18.5 hours in the rain with a stop at Allentown today; I'm finally home with Bone Busters! I'm way too tired to bring it in

Jealous of that Dancing Lady. Nice!

A little glue and the cabinet should be good as new.

There is a lot of work to do, but I know of less than five of these in existence. Been looking for one for a while and never thought I'd find one at all, let alone one with a decent playfield, let alone a brand new backglass. Back to work...

That's a cool looking game.

Thanks! I believe it is the first Williams that could be set for three ball play. Also the first with a reel on the playfield. 50 volt coils gives Williams of this era a lot of kick. I'm stoked. I just need to go thru it and soon we will be playing it. It's all there.

Man I love these things. I think they are very often overlooked. The music is awesome on most of them and most of the layouts are very creative. Bone Busters is like nothing else, really original and interesting layout.. non-traditional slings, 1 pop bumper, player controlled diverter. It was worth the 2 years it took me to track it down.

Nice Gottlieb line up.

I've had 2 Bad Girls...fun game.

The only Gottliebs left in my line-up are Raven and Diamond Lady.

Thanks! Yeah I really like Bad Girls, wouldn't mind picking up a Diamond Lady someday too.

#2328 3 years ago

Diamond Lady is a rare one, especially here in the states. Most were sent to France.

I discovered Robowar at LAX last year. Never had lines because it was in the middle of a bunch of DMD games. I played the shit out of it and fell in love.

I sold my Game Show over the weekend and bought an absolutely gorgeous Demolition Man from a buddy. It’s the nicest condition non-HUO game I’ve ever seen. It’s totally shopped with new rubber and all LED bulbs. It looks and plays amazing.

Lucky. Hopefully when I'm ready to buy again I can find an uber nice DM. Love that game.

A very worthy Spin-A-Card, from Pinfest!

Mint original paint all around besides repainted front-of-head (however they did tape off the detail paint, which was nice), very mint (dirty) playfield with absolutely no wear at all besides two very little marks which might even just be dirt. Pristine plastics. Backglass will need to be replaced (and will be, one day) but even as is it's not a big eye sore. Has hand painted pop bumpers and faded pop bumper caps but everything bad on this thing is replaceable/fixable definitely including that! I had to tweak the pop bumpers at the show because they were shotgunning off the hook with the slightest movement and it doesn't look like it was mechanically maintained at all (spin stepper has a nice little ring where the contacts spin through the thick dirt, spin pulse unit doesn't work, etc.) but I'm also open to a nice mechanical project and sometimes even prefer it! Game fully works already though which is always a plus! (It can run without that unit functioning, it just jumps to the next card instead of a random card)

Limited myself this year to nice condition wedgeheads (and, honorary wedgeheads) and SS games since I'm running out of room and want to only buy what I absolutely want nowadays to finish off the space I have left and stuck to it, looks like I got a great deal too! I do not have space for any junky condition games anymore and this one definitely fits the bill as collector quality, probably one of the best examples anybody could find of this title! Very low play machine. Wedgehead row begins!
