Quoted from bluespin:And you’ll be bored with it in a couple of months and bring it to Pinfest for me. Right?
Sorry, I’m next in line, right poppapin ???
Quoted from bicyclenut:Almost 8 hours of driving to pick this one up. Playfield looks brand new. Cabinet has a few scratches here and there but overall in great shape. I really needed a good cleaning. It had tons of burnt out bulbs, cobwebs inside and broken rubbers. Eyes didnt work on RED. Fixed all that and now I have a cherry game! I added a color DMD and all LED's

Beautiful game, worth the drive, really sweet. Heck of a fun game, would love to have one someday.
Picked up my First NIB, Mando Premium, from FlipNOut today! Sat down at my desk this morning and got an email that it was ready, wasn’t expecting it for another few weeks at least. Ordered back in late June of ‘21.
8 month old pictured helping me with the legs.

Congratulations! You know you are raising the 8 month old right when they already like working on pinball machines!

Also....peekaboo!
Quoted from pudealee:Well done Chisox
Thanks! As an 80s kid, playing this game with its sound and music is like watching an old Super 8 home movie of me jumping a homemade plywood ramp on my BMX bike (with mags!).
Quoted from crazypinballguy:7 hour round trip this morning for some zombies ...

Congratulations!
I sold my pro and got the LE. Big mistake for me. Pro plays much better in my opinion.
Quoted from Jwf_pinball:Picked up BSD and WCS today after having to lose STTNG in my move. ~4hr round trip. Glad to expand my collection.
sick lineup, guy .
Swapped my BKSOR premium to a super nice guy from Iowa earlier today. I still have no idea what I'm doing on LOTR but I'm enjoying it thus far!
Next up, unfortunately, is taxi leaving (to a good friend of mine at least!) to recoup my costs on my last delivery, a Bad Cats and a Slugfest.

Congratulations! Looks great!
Quoted from EJS:All setup now and it works. Bonus lights contact was dirty and flipper bat loose otherwise it’s a player. Needs to be shopped

Thanks, it's been a few years coming. I'm shopping an EXTREMELY DIRTY Bad Cats in my shop and it'll get swapped for the Taxi when my friend takes possession of it. I really don't plan on making any more moves for a bit... I'm tired lol.

I brought it home last week, but finished my very first shop job today on this tough beast (all new rubbers, replacing missing screws, busted bulbs and plastics, adding washers and protecters, cleaning subways, etc. Playfield looks almost new, mist works great, cabinet looks recently decal-ed, pinsound board with flipper fidelity speakers and the movie mix all make this game pop. I didn’t do a perfect job but I did it without screaming “FUCK THIS!!” at 1AM so not too bad a start on year 2 in this hobby for me.

Playfield looks like it'll turn out nice. I had 3 or 4 (still have one) and wear around the Drops
can be common..

JohnTTwo is babysitting my second one and my 3rd was so bad I had to put a CPR playfield in it currently in my front hall closet. I know, I’m crazy.

Looking at the TV in your last pic, you should've taken the pic 30 minutes earlier (shameless ‘Manifest’ plug).
This machine is worth every penny and the year long wait! I’m blown away by the build quality. The sound system in incredible!! Lighted apron is a must. Dutch Pinball is really head and shoulders above the rest. The dude abides!

Congratulations. JM is a great game. But that playfield has got to be lit up.
It looks much better in person I don’t think LEDs photograph well lol. There are spotlights for the middle of the playfield and the glove might switch up colors eventually but for now I like it.

Pictures don't always do justice. What counts is that you love it. Congrats.
Quoted from Chisox:I thought I’d never get the chance to own one of these. Then one pops up for sale 8 minutes away from me. Thank you Pingods!

That's funny, what are the odds? Just in case there's something more to this... I've been looking for a black hole locally for some time now. Just saying.

I'm so confused right now Bill
Quoted from pudealee:"Seafood...."
Meow meow meow meow! I need to work on BC tomorrow. I did absolutely nothing with it today (aside from throwing the big metal ball guide in my tumbler after somehow convincing it to work again) and it was the warmest day we've had in...a while. Bleh. I really want to get it done so I can finally play it!
I keep meaning to post my new christmas2021 find. A brand-new PotC that was sitting NIB in storage not far from the Stern factory. There is a guy up there that amassed 150+ machines, I think he said it included every one Stern made. His story was on Chicagoland TV and Gary and the rest of the Stern crew visited him at his 'gameroom' a few years back. Move the clock to 2021 and he has shifted his focus, and sold off most or all of the machines. He's got the downsizing bug I guess and runs a scuba shop ...
Anyway, he opened the machine, added HD glass, ColorDMD, sideblades, the golden coin shooter rod, shooter plate pirates decal, coin door pirates decal, and swapped all the bulbs with LEDs.... then shipped it to me! Hard to imagine a 15 year old machine sitting in a warehouse never played, but here it is, not a ball trail to be seen!
So I got the machine after a month (STI is backlogged), and swapped the sneeze clear screen with a 3D rope fence, added a 3D Jack monkey, hand-made a speaker panel to look like old world crafted marine wood, added a Pinshakers Premium shaker, swapped the backbox fluorescent tube with a GE LED replacement, swapped leg bolts and leg feet with golden ones, added some perfectly blended apron cards, added the Backalley shooter lane cast resin cannon cover, and added the driftwood plastic replacements for the inlanes. Replaced cabinet 8-inch woofer and added SpeakerLED lights and pirate ship speaker silhouettes.
Overboard? Hummm, I think I am done.

That rug really ties the room together
Found a local Bad Cats in pretty nice shape overall this weekend. It came with an extra CPR gold playfield, new ramps, plastics and pf decals, so this will get a high-end restoration treatment over the next few weeks. Should be a fun project!

Congrats.
