Wow what a collection. That Rocket pin makes me jealous. I’ll have one some day.
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:50% off, I had to.
Came with very scary catalog and apparently they sell pac man too.

LOL@ "very scary catalog"
Quoted from Ericpinballfan:My first....

So many questions.
- Is it a working game?
- Does the glass come off for cleaning?
- What size ball does it use?
- Is that a plunger or a start button?
- What’s the power source?
- Are those 1930’s style coil bumpers?
Quoted from Skatewake:This is what I brought home today.
Who Dunnit is on my list! Well done!

Congrats! Such an under-rated game.

Wow, Nice pickup. I'm nearby if you want to unload something!!
Quoted from TopMoose:- What size ball does it use?
Industry standard, i'm sure. As shown in this fully populated playfield.
Not Pinball but I grabbed one of the Arcade 1up cabinets today. I used to have quite a few early 80s cabinets but sold them all when I got into pinball. These little ones aren't as cool as the real thing but there are so any out there now. It was hard to turn down a deal on a second hand one. Now I need to refresh my Pacman skills. I used to kick its ass. Wish they had a mini Neo Geo cab as well.

They we're 50% off 2 weeks ago.
Check American Gril web site every once in awhile, it will happen again.
It was $90 to the door with shipping and tax.

1- Yes, 100% playable and plays like an EM. 3 ball game.
2- The Glass is 1 piece bezel. I don't see a way to pop it off yet.
3- The ball is approx 1/8th inch.
4- Real plunger. When you pull it back, ball pops into the shooter lane. Slight skill shot is top middle to center pop bumper. The red button on on coin door starts game.
5- 3 C batteries load from underneath. Fun thing. Game has power switch under in back. But, if you leave it on, it will time out in about 5 mins.
6- they do act like old wood rail 30's bumpers.
Only complaint. The flipper bats have no rubbers on them. If I can figure a way to get glass off I will figure that out and add them.

It looks like the old Tomy tables from the 80s with a little more polish. Those things were fun. We have a modded Atomic Pinball in its box somewhere in the basement and I had the Super Mario Bros. one as a kid.

one of the more affordable pins on the market today.
Quoted from fabsj82:Deals are still hiding out there. Looks way worse than it is, should clean up nice.

One of the best early solid state games. Have owned 2 of them over the years. Sold a restored one 20 years ago for 1500 and regretted it so
i bought another a few years ago and will restore it.

Perfect time to make that playfield look really special with a new Hardtop!!

Have you seen one installed yet? That would be great for my bow and arrow!

Yes, local collector, husband/wife, had installed one on 2 Flash Gordon's, their Frontier and a High Speed so far. They look great. Looks factory fresh after being done.
Quoted from Zartan:That would be great for my bow and arrow!
I think that will be a while before they start into EM pins.

That pf isnt close to being blown out, will prolly clean up real nice. No need for a hardtop on games that aren’t roached.

Yeah, may have belonged to someone that didn't know you can remove the glass. Would like to see the cleaned up pics!
Picked up a TFTC the other day, had a transistor short out on initial power up, but after replacing it everything is working well. Have to order a replacement plastic and look into getting a topper for it. Happy to add another machine to the collection after having only 1 for about 14 years.

Congrats! TFTC is a really fun pin. I loved the tv show too. Nice addition! With #2, can #3 be far behind???

Possibly I did recently acquire a Zaxxon machine so that has been a fun project to work on as well. Much simpler than pinball machines.

I was mostly into video games in the 80’s. Zaxxon and all those classics. It wasn’t until the 90’s that I discovered pinball. When The Addams Family came out.

If you're gonna have only one machine for 14 years, better make sure the one you buy is totally Radical!!
I probably played more than 50 games of Lucky Hand at the last Rocky Mountain Pinball Showdown. Made me want one for my first EM, but I currently have no room. Someday....
Quoted from Skyemont:No big deal but the prices were good. Rollergames, Aztec and Captain Fantastic.

Nice, very nice. An Aztec and a Caiptan too? Very nice indeed.

Thanks. The owners were super nice. Pulled up in the driveway that was 2 thousand feet long all paved on 50 acres. Nice as crap.

Mine was built on the same day.
Finally picked up my first (and second) pins on New Years Day. Loving the theme and relatively simplistic gameplay of AP. A good way for the whole family to enjoy wading into the hobby. The Comet will be a summer resto job, as will cabinet work for AP.
