Yeah - Robs the best!
Quoted from rcbrown316:level 1 shop job on catacomb. polished PF, replaced acorn nuts, flattened plastics, new glass, cleaned rubbers(they were pretty new), rebuilt flippers, re-sleeved all coils, cleaned all solenoid-driven mechanics, wet sanded and buffed shooter rod replaced 5101's on mpu did not touch cabinet or legs. in gameroom for play-testing for a bit then I will give it the deluxe restore. very cool and complex game for 1981. wish I knew what I was doing. I can see why these don't come up for sale often.

I played one of these for the first time at Pinfest last year - Really fun game and way ahead of its time - definitely a keeper!
Quoted from jmountjoy111:I picked up and Elvis and a jackbot today. Both in need of a deep cleaning but I'm feeling good about it. It's my first new stern.
What the hell happened to the lock bar on that Elvis??? It takes one hell of a thump to put that kind of dent in a lock bar.
I guess it could have been worse.

Lol. I asked the seller and he said "ehhhhh you never know about these games that have come from the wild"
Quoted from dothedoo:It scares me that I see a cockroach egg sack in the first picture. Don't take that thing in your house without fully cleaning it out first.
UGGG... I brought home a game that had f*&king cockroaches in it. I saw one in my van and I'm thinking... did I just see a cockroach in my van?! No way. Where did that come from? WTF?!
Then, I started seeing them in my house. Had to get an exterminator to take care of the issue. Folks,,,, check your newly purchased used games for unwanted insects and pests.
Quoted from JeffLadder:This will help fill the void when I sold Batman Forever
That's one machine I've never seen in person, and I so want to play it.
Quoted from freddy:wow bent leg and no cab damage? you got lucky. GLW your diner
Fortunately zero damage otherwise. Great art on this pin. I've been (casually) looking for one for a while....
Quoted from pinster68:One small casualty ... a bent leg.
Same thing happened to my TZ I bought a few weeks ago... It was shipped 10 hours with NAVL. The game was legs on, bundled up nicely, but the rear left leg was bent just like yours. Zero cab damage as well. oh, and the translite was NOT locked, so it was laying on the PF glass face down. Could have been disastrous!
Just got this home this afternoon. (thanks JDinNOVA amazing wrapping job).... Trick was unloading by myself I thought the rfm was heavy, I was wrong!
Quoted from yzfguy:OMG..please get that kid and bike away!!!
LOL, I encourage mine to play, but no machinery, nothing that can scratch/dent/chip the machines in any are not permitted in the area!
Quoted from yzfguy:OMG..please get that kid and bike away!!!
this was a very rare occurrence where he had gotten a brand new bike for his birthday just moments before the pic was taken, and was being escorted away he's a good boy and respects daddy's Pinball machines, he also loves playing and is getting pretty good. but like myself at times, gets distracted by the cool toys and pretty lights, hehe
Quoted from Chosen_S:cool pic and game room!
Thanks, I was actually relieved when I squished them in there so no bikes can get to the cabs
Quoted from yzfguy:I hear ya, I was actually kidding....
LOL, i dont see any bikes down there! What kind of Budweiser sign is that? Looks like combo monster energy/Budweiser

Budweiser poker
Really don't have the space for this Gottlieb wedgehead, but will be a nice restoration project for the Spring months ahead. I'm sure once I am finish putting my magic touches on the game, I find a place for it.

There's always room for an Abra Ca Dabra!
Nice unrestored KISS Bally came home with me today. Guy had it since the 90's, did not even know how to remove the lock down bar. Fortunately the guy he bought it from, deinstalled the MPU battery and did an inside back box battery mount. This was the least damaged MPU board I have ever seen. No corrosion on any of the metal under the play field everything look like day one... I am astonished. NO loose inserts either.
I can not wait to vacuum out the playfield and gently clean the 20 years of dust off the surface and see what lies beneath.
Perfect restore candidate.

Quoted from Lethal_Inc:Did you get a good deal on it?
i was pleased at the price. And at what I paid for it i think have a couple of options.
-Restore it myself and try to sell high ( then I can play & enjoy it for a while)
-Sell it soon as is, let someone else do the restore.
-Trade it for a mid 90's pin or later (or trade for project TZ, MB, IJ, TOM, RBION or trade towards a better condition versions of the same)
I love the Bally Kiss and I always wanted this machine, but there are a few that I would rather have first/ instead.
