How many miles did you put on the car after the oil change and when the engine disintegrated?

I got the car Wednesday night, noticed problems Friday night at end of my trip. So I drove to work Thursday and Friday without a problem
Miles? Around 300
I've changed my own oil my whole life. When I was a kid I heard stories of places just wiping off the filter so it looked new rather than change it. Rather have it done right for sure.

So the mileage is documented? I assume you still have your receipt. I think it would be hard for the dealership to weasel out of this, but for the big bucks they are probably going to try.
A big plus is if you do not do any of your own work and take it to THIS dealership for all maintenance and repairs. And if do, hopefully you have saved all of your receipts.
Keep us apprised of your progress of getting satisfaction.
A Walmart shop tried to do the weasel on me but I had a stack of receipts showing all work done by Walmart. There was no monetary loss involved but if I had not able to produce the stack of receipts, Walmart would have walked me.

Maybe we should start a thread called "crooked auto mechanics" or maybe just "dumb auto mechanics". I have several of those stories.

So don’t go to your stores for oil changes?
One vowel missed can make all the difference.

I have receipt from the oil change on Wednesday and mileage was documented at dealer I had car towed to.
I will post update when I hear something back from dealer
Back on track here, I have a problem and cannot pass up a deal. For the price I was expecting to just be picking up a parts pin that I’d use as a conversion base for another stern. Much nicer than expected for <$300 including gas and a forgotten step ladder at the seller’s house!

Never seen a credit display like this before! I guess Stern made these early on because it’s got their name on it.

Since I have no room, I’m gonna fix it up and loan to a friend that’s been toying with the idea of buying a game.

That's awesome. I got lucky on mine. The backglass is nearly perfect.

I need to get over you’re house soon
I want to thank MustangPaul(awesome pinsider)for hooking me up with a HUO loaded Nascar for my re-theme project.
I have to say Nacsar is a really fun under-rated loaded game and talk about bang for your buck(there still are good deals out there) My son also said it is his new favorite game

First leg of the trip was 2 hours in an open truck so distributor did that to protect it for me. It did well.

Grand Lizard, Jungle Lord and Zilla, you've got taste but dang, two cup holders!? I don't get it. I'd understand an ashtray and a cup holder. Maybe you're super bad ass and can down two beers in one game, or water and beer? I'm stumped.

Looks like it’s a little tight in there. Let me come get that Iron Man and free up some space for you.
A Gorgar that needs a shit load of work! Fun project pin. Everything available to restore including a HardTop. I know it's a super basic game, but I like the artwork and the theme fits my cave! Also like the heartbeat! Of course I'm adding a larger woofer to cab. Also, the upgraded cab decal set is cool!
This is not mine! But I already ordered this decal set! 20150308_184712-e1508961168259-scaled (resized).jpg
Actually got this a year ago but needed restoration.
It's now in its new home after being restored and
a brief trip to Pincinnati. 20211209_105559 (resized).jpg

It is in a brewery and my business partner wanted that so games don't bump into each other. Sometimes you gotta pick your battles.
Quoted from lowbeau67:Red Meteor is in its place at my physical therapy dept.
I bet pinball can be an awesome form of therapy! Hand/eye coordination, concentration, reaction time, sound and visual stimulation, etc. I often represent people with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries and I should help explore this potential more. Nicely done!
Quoted from RustyLizard:It is in a brewery and my business partner wanted that so games don't bump into each other. Sometimes you gotta pick your battles.
Got it, business partners can be a blessing and a curse.
I was kinda hoping you'd be like "I'm from Wisconsin dammit, I drink two beers per game!"
My Mom grew up in Rhinelander and she's always pushing beers on me when I visit, even if it's 10 in the morning!
