Quoted from psd4me:Finally got to take this off the wish list today

The heads in the backseat.
Serial no# 1005 I believe the 5th one built.
Got a package deal on these two yesterday. A bit of a road trip and my wife came along. Saw some beautiful country on the road through Southern Oregon and Northern California.

Took it off my wish list.
What came first, "the Hay or the Pigeon"..
Years back before Craigs list, I got a call (from one of the Pennysaver wanted ads) from
hickville N.Y. and said they had a pinball machine in a barn. I took the 1.5 hr. (very back road) trip,
and could see the Hay Ride backglass look to be in pretty good shape, but the playfield had no glass
and it was entirely covered with Pigeon crap. 100%!. But for a hundred bucks, what the hell.
Got it home, cleaned the rest of it up, and the fairly thick layer of hay between the playfield and
Pigeon crap was enough to save the playfield.
I went through it years back, and eventually, I'll have her set back up again.

This one has crossed my path a few times, never could seal the deal though.

Yeah. Why else would he have his head turned like that?

Yeah. You're in add-a-ball land as well.
Quoted from mmuglia:I picked up SWE1 on Wednesday and RFM on Friday. Just got things moved around today and set them up.

Nice lineup!

Hick(s)ville is way more than an hour and a half from you. It's out on Long Island!
Quoted from jrpinball:Hick(s)ville is way more than an hour and a half from you.
There actually is a Hicksville, N.Y.?! I guess maybe I should have looked that up.
What I actually meant was it was some hick town far in the sticks where I picked it up.
It may have been SE from me, but there's no way I can say exactly where it was.
Back then, I placed ads in small hick town Pennysavers. When I got home from
work, more days than not there would be calls left on the answering machine..
Quoted from EJS:All set! Easier to move than a pinball.

Nice spot for that piece!

I had it flat against the wall but then pinballplusMN said I should turn it out like the way it is now and I think it looks better too.
Quoted from Md2020:See if you can guess the game! It’s obvious, lol. This is a bucket list game. Maybe finally it will satiate my pinball buying addiction

if I had to Guess N' Reveal the game, I'd say ....
Congrats on picking one up!!

Nice! Was this listed on FB Marketplace? I saw one for a decent price and should have jumped at it. I prefer the Taito version, but this one is super fun as well!
Nice pickup!

Yea, on facebook. Bought it Thursday and it delivered Saturday. I play the Taito version at Game Terminal in Nashville a lot. I had never played the ICE version but I think I like it better. It plays super smooth and has 12 holes instead of 10. It also has some difficulty settings that can be adjusted. The Taito artwork and cabinet are for sure better. At the price I paid in todays market I think I did pretty good.
Quoted from Colsond3:Been on the hunt for Deadpool, but with prices being continuously nuts these days, I settled for a Star Pool.
Could use a new BG if anybody has a lead on one.

Buy a Deadpool translite and cutout holes for the score reels. Customized by Colson.
My first dumb pinball purchase, but not my last. Someone was selling a Haunted House for $1000. Only catch? You needed to buy his entire lot of 20 jukeboxes (the entire lot including the pin was $1000), he wouldn’t just piece out the pin. Still figured a garbage full of jukeboxes is worth $1000 for a pin high up on my want list.

I would have passed. Now if it was a MM, TAF, etc... I woudl seriously think about it.

Damn. Sell the jukes for $50 each, and you got a free pin!
Checked this off my wishlist….

Cabinet repaint isn’t great, but the playfield and backglass make up for it. Oh, and it fits in a 2019 X1, if anyone needs to know what machines fit.

Such a fun machine, especially when playing head to head. Gorgeous looker too.
Quoted from mtn-:Decent pf and good b/g. Needs a new card or two though.
Congratulations! I cut my teeth on an Eight Ball in the '70s. I'd love to have one of these sometime.
Quoted from mtn-:I and Edenecho got this for our club.
Decent pf and good b/g. Needs a new card or two though.

Man, that eight ball really looks good. It's on my wish list.
Quoted from Meri-cah:9 hours round trip. Cross state lines. Change in time zone. Totally worth it for an amazing LE at a great price!

miss mine, one of the only games I have ever played that kept me hitting the start button over and over.

Apparently you still can! I've heard of a guy who bought an amazing LE recently at a good price. Had to drive about 9 hours round trip to get it though. It was in the next time zone over.
