My Nine Ball is done, brought it to my friends Arcade for tonight's Halloween party.

New drops, xpin scores, new vintage stand up target, trough light, and comet leds.

Thanks to Jay, James Jim and EEE in Arizona, lot of people helped get it home and fixed up, and in fighting trim.

We got an a amazing community.

after a marathon 24 hours with lots of stops for coffee and inexplicably double that number of stops to pee, I've come home with my first machine newer than a whitestar!

Very happy with how much lighter they are and the ease with which they update, not as happy with the boot times, the power cable location and length (thought it does make moving them easier), or the power switch change, but the game itself is phenomenal.

And thanks to the pinside archives and a little googlefu I founds lots of great tips that helped me get both the machine I brought for trade, and this Deadpool back, through some serious rain in the bed of my truck without a drop hitting them.

When did Stern start installing service rails? My GOTG has the two thin posts, and I cannot stand having only one service position (other than full up against the backboard).

You can buy the rails in a kit for around $50 I think. I bought a set for my Star Trek pro but never got around to installing them. If you’d like them, I’ll ship them to you for free (no charge to me) if you just wanna pay shipping. Message me.

Brought this one home Friday on a good local deal. A family inherited it from the previous owner when they bought their house. Perfect backglass, solid cab, playfield could use some love. This is version 2/3 with the Italian bottom and 1776/1976 on the glass.

'Merica!

Edit to say, with all the discussion of rising prices, I paid $240.

Grabbed this decent Firepower today for about $500. Dirty, but relatively non-worn playfield. Some slight cracks in the backglass artwork...and quite a few electrical hacks under the hood. It will shine eventually like all the rest. My first Williams System 6 game...gonna be fun learning about the board set. Freaking love the sounds on this game...seems to be a trend for me. The sound and music pulls me in every time!

Congrats!! Yep the Firepower sounds are awesome - plenty of nostalgia for me as well being one of the first machines I played.

Today was Christmas in November! Santa pulled up in a big R&L truck and dropped off a couple of new toys. First up is a super nice TAF, with NOS clearcoated playfield and new cabinet. It is essentially a high end restoration. It was accompanied by a CQ MM, which looks like it has been in a vault since 1997. At today's prices these kind of broke the bank but I couldn't resist the idea of grabbing my two grail machines in one shot, especially in such condition.

Congrats bro! I'd love to find a firepower. My favorite Williams feature is the 3 ball lock and relock during mb for big scores. Besides system 11s, the system 6s are bitchin

Drove out to expo last weekend, and swore I wouldn't buy another pinball machine. I didn't technically ... I won this gottlieb Rock machine in the auction sponsored by project pinball. Great people, great cause, great fun. Can always find room for another lady from the 80s in my lineup.

Very nice! Congrats!

I'm finishing up a resto of a Gottlieb Spring Break (So very 80's). Somehow the spot I had for it got taken up by a GOTG that just happened to find its way into the house. Now I need to find more space or sell something...
