I’m heading back on a 1560 mile round-trip pin-haul picking up four pins from two locations. Nestled in the back of that U-Haul is it fully restored custom Tommy (thanks @jjsmooth) and fully shopped very nice originals of Hurricane, BSD and Jokerz (@jimmyhonda). I can’t say enough kudos about both of these guys. Deal with confidence with these two Pinsiders!

Not a new machine, but pretty excited for a new playfield. Figured my Cyclone deserves it after I let it fall over in the Ida flooding...

Always liked the look of this one and
the backglass is pure heaven.
Works decent but needs some love and care
to look better and be zippier.

This will be a playable project in garage. Will hardtop this one when I'm done with my meteor refurbish.
Good day when I post20211011_214416 (resized).jpg20211011_214416 (resized).jpg in this thread.

A week late but I brought home a Baby Pac-Man and an Omega Race plus a lot of extra parts for baby. It’s an interesting little machine and those ghost are mean too.

Nice pickup. I still contend that Omega Race has the best art package of any arcade game of the era (not including pinball). Just a gorgeous looking machine.

Agree with you on all of your comments. Nice pickup. Have lots of fun with it.

I've seen that the rock opera Tommy may be revived when Broadway gets going again.

Does bringing your entire collection up from a crummy unfinished basement and into a gigantic finished (walkout!) 27x19 basement qualify for this thread?! We moved last weekend--loving the new house! My Eight Ball Deluxe didn't fare so well from the move (my freshly powdercoated rails were gouged badly when the backglass came loose from the channel but THANKFULLY the glass didn't crack) so it got moved to the new pinball shop. It needs to be finished anyway before it gets added to the row.

I've got a lot on my plate right now (still dragging crap over from the old house, close date 10/29 and I wanted to have a garage sale with things I didn't want to bring, surgery 11/1+recovery after)..might put me at 2022 before I can really dig into any projects or get back to my poor EBD, but man I'm excited to use that big shop space. I've had to work around all my pins in a cramped space with no light in my dank unfinished basement for so long that I almost can't fathom what it'll be like to have both space *and* light to work! The shop seems pretty decently insulated from what I can tell but we'll see if I need to do some more work or not. I definitely need to at least do something to cover the insulation as it exists now.

Still need to drag over my SkyPilot rotisserie and the Stars playfield that's sitting on it but I managed to get all my other pinball supplies (toolbox, bulb box, craft organizer filled with rubber/targets/matrix lights/etc) over yesterday. Little by little, I'll get it.

As for the row, the neighbor kids came over and experienced some pinball (I'm pretty sure for the first time). They seemed to have enjoyed themselves. Hopefully this is the start to a couple of new hobbyists! Big ups to my kid for picking the most frustrating damn game in the bunch to play... lol

I picked up an AIQ Pro that was delivered yesterday. Only really had time to get it in the basement before I had to leave for leagues. I should have some time to play it tonight.

Just received an October 2021 build of GNR.

Used to have an SE, kinda missed it… so, impulsively jumped on this when somebody sold their pre-order for a loss a couple months ago.

Was happy to see code is in a much better place now and all the extra shots / lighting stuff is rather great! Less happy to see it’s even heavier than the SE.

And hey, according to Scorbit I’m only 8 slots away from catching Karl
