We're redecorating and I dug the retro vibe. The machine is actually a winner. It definitely exceeded my expectations.

2yrs without a single cleaning. Not even a wipedown in 2,000 games. All settings set to easiest. So many free balls lol. Left coil stop completely disintegrated. Post sleeves splitting. Wolverine spinner hadn't worked in entire 2yrs he owned it (fixed it while I was at his house lol. Just reseated the connector)
Doesn't need much
She'll be good as new come Monday

Like some other Pinheads, tribute to the old man who passed 2 1/2 years ago.
This is a tribute to the family name and Dad.
To me I couldn't think of anything better than an Aussie made start up company who personalised a game for me.

Not necessarily brought home today but officially added to the collection: my Star Gazer scratch build!

Made in fits and starts. Painted the cab in January, got the harness in June. Played my first game this morning. Some kinks to iron out but it’s “done”!

That is spectacular! Where did you get the plans for the cabinet, or did you buy one and just painted it?

Congratulations! That has to be the nicest one out there!

It was converted from a Stern Hot Hand* that I pulled out of a hoarder’s horror house. Somehow the cabinet was structurally in better shape than almost any other pin of that era I’ve owned. Playfield, backglass, and everything else was wrecked.

*I did find the correct 16B-6 transformer Star Gazer uses to install for this build though.

Here is a pic from the side. It has a ramp which I removed to gain the extra 4 inches of length needed.

Rack is rated for 500 pounds so no problem there.

I occasionally buy pins in Illinois and will never pull a trailer through a toll booth. I hate paying for 2 axles.

With this I can transport 3 pins and get over 20 MPG. Two in the back and one on the rack.
