I know Centaur II plays itself while in attract mode. Not sure if the first one did that.

Quoted from DennisDodel:There are still some good finds out there. 1300 miles round trip. Left St. Louis at 6:00 AM this past Saturday morning and was back home at 7:00 AM Sunday morning.
Damn, Dennis. I wish I had your space problem!

Belongs to my son. I wish he had the place 30 years ago!

It took me awhile to figure out what was going on with mine. I thought it was rebooting.
Quoted from House:Brought home the AC/DC I've long wanted to own.

I scuba dive in the quarry in Findlay Ohio! Great time!
Quoted from Da-Shaker:It took me awhile to figure out what was going on with mine. I thought it was rebooting.
The best part was that it went off for the first time the precise moment that I pressed the button on my can of spray away. I thought the glass cleaner had caused a reboot.

Actually, when I told my wife the situation she said, “just get them both”. It’s why we’ve been together over 20 years.
Oh by the way:

I need to get some type of lift for my machines.
There is one for sale on CL in Oakland/Emeryville area. I believe the seller was originally asking $975. It is now listed at $700.

Yeah, I think I am in mine for $250 including the jack. $750 seems insane, but maybe it's just me.

I find the Harbor Freight lift table to be the hot ticket, $130 with coupon.

That was a picture before I broke it down at his place. Cool house though.

Definitely. Pretty damn nice. And as fate would have it, I ordered a CPR mirrored backglass in December just to stash, have some chrome trim also.
So psyched to have one.

time to quit ... travelling days are over!
Craigslist find. Seller was super friendly and had a few other pins I may be making a return trip for. I’m out of room, but there’s always ways to get creative spreading pins around.
It’s been a while since I’ve owned a 70s/early 80s pin. I prefer modern games usually, but earlier games have a unique charm about them that the games of today lack.

That’ll never happen. Someone has to keep the pinball economy constantly moving.

I was thinking Blue Note myself.

I couldn't find one - so Rock Star will have to do.

Blue Note is not an easy game to come by.

Spotted the Captain's Auctions sticker on it.
Lot #586 (resized).JPGQuoted from jrpinball:Captain's Auctions sticker on it. Did you return with all of your appendages intact?
Yeah - but I'm lighter in the wallet no doubt.
PF isn't as good as I could see in the pics, but it's ok. Might pull it and have Cpt Neo do this magic, we'll see.
It's heavy for a Gottlieb wedge head - that is for sure.

Does Rock Star has the same particle board play field my cousin's Blue Note has?
It might be something besides particle board but it is not a plywood playing surface we are all familiar with.
Quoted from Methos:I couldn't find one - so Rock Star will have to do.
There was definitely a Blue Note at INDISC one year. I guess it wasn't actually owned by the museum or was sold before the auction?
I remember playing the Rock Star that year trying to figure out the scoring to take with me over to Blue Note in the tournament.

It was sold as well. Went for higher than the Rock Star - so I had to bow out.

Wow, that's a unique operator tag perfectly fit in the price window
Quoted from uphamj:Hard to pass up any Pin for $400 these days.....
Easy solution, just buy them anytime a cheap pin turns up!
Quoted from AJGross:Picked this up yesterday. $500. It looked much nicer in the pics from the seller. It came with a ton of problems at no extra charge. Displays don't come on. MPU doesn't boot. This is going to be a lengthy refurbish.
