Chuckled a little when I saw this.

It was definitely not a good screen name. I created it after “discovering” pinball machines a few years ago where the idea of being able to have 1 machine in the house was hard to imagine. If I only knew then how easily they can multiply.

You can ask the moderators to change your screen name. I suggest “lookingfor(another)pin”.

This one's kind of unfair since it's a cabinet repaint. That having been said, I added a shot of the playfield, not a clear or detailed one but someone will figure it out. You folks amaze me. No cheating,BTW.

I'm guessing Williams Stop-N-Go? Coin plates give it away as 60s Williams. Looks like reverse flips, although I think it would have had red originally.

8 hour turnaround last night, to pick up my 2nd high speed table (had one about 6 years ago). Waiting for some muscle to help unload but can't wait to get it all ripped apart and cleaned and waxed and LED'd.

Legs are too rusty to save, ordered new ones on marco and im using the old ones for "metal cleaning practice"

Backglass is starting to peel/flake - ordered a can of triple thick clear to try to fix. Will probably get a CPR repro.

....repeat that?
.....He got away.

Evaporust does wonders. Seal up a PVC pipe from Home Depot, put the legs in, pour in a gallon or so of Evaporust, and let it sit overnight. Rust will be gone and legs will be ready for polishing/painting/sealing.

I am literally doing that now but unfortunately, the pitting is so deep they aren't ever going to look nice without paint.

Its not a huge deal though marco sells sets of 4 for the price of two gallons of evapo rust and I need to order silverjets anyway (I am never bummed to get a game that doesnt use magnets )

Evaporust is only $16.15 per gallon on Amazon and has free shipping. If you do use Evaporust on legs, spray them afterwards with a $6 can of clear from the home improvement store, or wax them. That will prevent the rust from returning.

Thanks. I will definitely need to setup an evap I rust station in my garage for my next project. I was thinking about a way to save chemicals by vac-u-forming soaking trays but then id have to get a vacuum table too but that sounds cool too .

I used the evaporust kitchen sink method and got the fronts and where the table butts up on the backs cleaned with 1000 grit wet cobalt sandpaper.

After cleaning metal i like to use never dull as a rust stopper. I give it a thurough coat barely buff it, then come back a day later and buff the white residue off.

Table was sold in auction as not working, 3xAAA batteries and she's playing again. Now I have to figure out how to one-man it up my 4 garage steps into the house and I can start cleaning.

I also had a not-fun first this week and learned about not setting tempered glass on cement. Even if you think you can do it very very carefully, don't do it. Fortunately it was from a thrashed empty cabinet i bought, not the HS.

Just as an aside, a good powder coating after cleanup could save those legs. I've got a couple of sets that I'll likely farm off to a local in the near future.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Today I turned 25 and I got woken up by a call from an operator I’ve been working for a few months. He said “I’m done screwing around with these other guys, if you want them all then tell me when you want to get ‘em”
I told him I’d be there in 2 hours!

Here’s my best haul yet, and it was only 20 miles from my house! He bought them all NIB and they’ve sat in the bowling alley for nearly 30 years! The decals look amazing. No fade. Some slight water damage but the games all play and function perfectly!

Picked up what looks like a low play TSPP. Extra parts bag still in cabinet unopened. Unfortunately, I busted my back getting it out of my truck by myself. Looks like its going to sit for a minute until I can walk straight again.

Any guesses?

This is the White Water that I was supposed to be bringing back home today.
After almost a month and 49 email exchanges, the seller and I agreed on a price and date for pick up. Three days ago he informs me that his neighbor just found out that he was selling it and "twisted his arm to sell it to him".
What's most amusing is that two weeks ago he came to me crying about a lack of "honest people" after he got screwed over by a guy selling him a pin who backed out of the sale and sold it to someone else for more money.

Oh well. Still cruising the midwest with a empty car and a pocket full of cash in search of a White Water. (Or ACDC, or MET, or GoT)
And a lesson learned from what CrazyLevi always says - have cash ready and get there as fast as you can!

Sorry Man, Same thing happened to me. Talked to dude on phone for his Gorgar about 4 times. We agree on price and when I was going to pick up his Gorgar, hung up phone then 3 minutes later the dude sent text message saying his family said he cannot sell it. What do think is going to happen when you put something up for sale and then a text message, come on man. I like the Jason and Mike Myers sticker in the back No Lives Matter. It will come back (Karma).
