Doesn't have the original receipt, but I didn't see any shooter lane wear so I am going with undocumented HUO. Has original rubber and incandescent bulbs, I don't even think the original owner knew you could open these up. Best part is no pooling or chipping at the playfield posts!

Quoted from LesManley:

Scored a 90's Jurassic Park pin today. Probably not what you were thinking, but the price was right...$5...and the kids like it.

Looks like a Pinball gateway drug. Good job.

Not even dimpling on the PF? I heard even the 90's games had horrible dimpling and unfinished code when released.

My daughter would love that. I have a home brew I made her but obviously not playable Lol.

Brought home a coffee table today. Headless, harnessless, coiless with a jacked up cabinet and a messy playfield. What was I thinking? Maybe it should just stay as a coffee table.

Repro Nine Ball playfields are now available since your lower section is totally blown out. Building a head isn't too hard on those classic Sterns and the boards are very easy to come by. Join the 9-ball club and we will all be glad to help you bring her back! A Nine Ball is a great pickup!

Starting with more than I am, all I have is a clapped out playfield and backglass.

But nonetheless I'm building a seawitch with no doner pin sacrificed.

Looks like it's in good shape, any plans to send it to HEP for a restoration?

Brought this one home. Not something I was really looking for but the price was good. Gonna get it the topper and do some TLC on it and see if it’s a keeper or something I’ll pass on. It seems pretty interesting initially though! Cabinet colors and playfield look pretty good too!

Or you can buy a roll of Kobalt Tool box liner from Lowes for $20. Same thing, and one roll does two games with two cuts. Unless you really feel the need to pay $40 more per mat just to have the Stern logo.

I don't get the idea of this.... To keep dust off, or are your games in the sun and you're worried about playfield fade?

Quoted from yzfguy:

For me it’s 100% to keep dust off. Got sick of wiping the glass down.
I used the non slip drawer liner for a bit but found it would leave a mark on the glass when left on for a reasonable amount of time.
I’ve ended up just using towels with magnets that stick to the headbox hinges.

Quoted from Boof-Ed:

For my licensed games (Star Wars - Stern & DE) I use a themed beach towel. For my Funhouse, just a towel with a close color to the cab.

If I see any dust, I just give a quick micro fiber towel wipe. Seems like more work to cover them and I can't see the coolness. Shrug.

I prefer them covered as well, old soft towel works great.

I use a California car duster. Takes about a minute to do a row of 10 games.

Sun. I’m worried about them turning to ash. They are vampire games...duh.

It is for dust, but I keep those three covered because I tend to throw boxes and other things on them. Keeps me from scratching the glass.

True. Glad that people bought some of mine many decades ago.

Rarely do I get a machine that I don't have to removes years of brown gunk from the cabinet. Kinda fun doing it!
