I dont think ive ever played pinball NOT high lol
Quoted from cottonm4:Michelle at STI (or wherever she is at). I had a pin shipped in from New York with legs on. The movers carried it up my 2 porch steps and into the house and unwrapped it and we all looked it over for damage of which there was none.

Thank you Sir! That's the consensus I reached after searching a few threads on the subject. Will contact Michelle at STI and request white glove service with careful packing, blankets and full insurance. I really appreciate the help.
Grabbed a Top Score on Sunday. 2 miles from home. First EM for me.Came with the rare 22" legs. Score motor running continuously so I've been reading up on EM stuff. Last pic is the Facebook screen shot. 50's era, LOL

That's gotta be the best mushroomed plunger I've ever seen!
Quoted from Manny65:That's gotta be the best mushroomed plunger I've ever seen!
There were three broken shooter tips in the bottom of the cabinet. The shortened legs are what threw me. They chopped 5-6 inches off the bottom of the legs, over lapped and welded.

Judging by the picture welded poorly! I have shortened a few sets of legs, its not hard to butt them together, weld and grind down so its virtually impossible to tell its been done.
Quoted from dirkdiggler:Did anyone else rip gig/concert posters off of poles like I did as a youth?
I have a small collection of originals in my game room. Here’s a few.

Try contacting Add-A-Ball? When I found that I thought it was amazing. I need one hanging next to my Baby Pac-Man!
Pinball is corrupting the youth!!

We can only hope....
My son and I did a 14 hour round trip mission yesterday to get two pins.
The first is Xenon. She is a dirty girl for sure and will need a full restoration but MAN, that backglass! I don’t know how but somehow in a neglected, mouse infested machine in an outdoor garage the backglass remained PRISTINE!

The second pin was Card Whiz. A really fun EM in my opinion and fully working. It came out of a 25 year stay in a chain smokers house so there’s some serious simple green and magic eraser in its future! Should clean up nicely though. Backglass on this one was also really nice.

It was a very long and tiring day but I got both pins for under $1000 total so I’m thinking it was probably worth the trip.
Quoted from PSchwisow:Not a great selfie, but there is a wedgehead hiding back there! (My teenage driver asked not to be in the photo, but he is happy with the purchase as well.)

Pulled off after the picture, lol
Todays pick ups are Iron Maiden LE, with 204 plays showing.
Wizard of OZ ECLE with 121 plays showing.
I'm guessing it was reset with a code update on WOZ.

Nice! I wonder what it is.
I bought a Playboy 78 yesterday but dont have room right now so its at my parents house temporarily.
Pinball is a hell of a drug.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Tried to bring this home for my brother but broke down 120 miles from home. On a plus note we made it to a hotel and theres a bunch of close repair shops with a 4.5 or better google rating.

Beat of luck with the truck. I just picked up a TF last week and it is so much more fun than I ever thought it would be!

I called a shop and explained my dilemma as soon as they opened at 7:30 am and they had me back on the road at 8:35 for parts and $50 in labor(serpentine belt)and I tossed him a $20 on top. Then I blew a hose about 50 miles later but we just refilled the resivor back up and kept an eye on the heat gauge and made it home no problem. Tf has really good rules imo and a blast to play.
Quoted from Puffdanny:Just leave it as it sits,San Francisco the Pin.hobo multiball and shit on the sidewalk wizard mode.
I was going to complain and say WTF are you talking about but I took my lady for crab in frisco today and when we were driving away guess what, son of a bitch this guy walking down the sidewalk drops em to his ankles and pinched a loaf right there.I stand corrected and disgusted.Sorry I wandered off topic
To be fair, this ain't just a SF thing. In Kansas, our neighbor came out on his front step, pulled down his drawers and sprayed shit all over the front of his house. When we called the cops, he told them that it was a dog(what dog could shit up the side of your house?!). They made him clean it up. Nothing else was done. As far as I know, he's still pickling his brain in alcohol all day long, if he's not dead.
I don't miss that town at all.
I was scoring major points with my girl and this guy salted my game big time.I dont have extra game to start with

Nice looking Barracora!
Finally got a chance to grab a really nice Dirty Harry at Allentown yesterday. Nice resto on it and even came with a NOS Playfield. Lloyd and the boys were great to chat with. Safe travels back to Illinois fellas.

The 1970 Zip A Doo was purchased a month ago for a very nice price and Colson did me a solid and picked it up. My buddy and I drove down to Colson's place after the show Friday night and picked it up and left my Night Rider EM for Colson to deliver to the show Saturday due to conflicting schedule with the new owner.
The 1976 Aladdin's Castle was a little more interesting. I spied it right after the noon Friday opening in the flea market. SO CLEAN and ONLY 850. Unfortunately, the game sold Thursday night and was not marked sold. The seller was kind enough to point out the new owner to me and I began pressing the new owner all day to re-sell to me. Too many hundreds later, he relented and we agreed on a price. IMG_6524[1] (resized).JPGIMG_6532[1] (resized).JPG
Met several friends including Brad Baker, Bruce Zamost, Kory Hankin, George Arfkin and Colson. Rocked the cargo shorts and sketchers.IMG_6530[1] (resized).JPG
Picked up a very nice Who Dunnit today. Previous owner is one of those stand-up pinball collectors who prices his pins well below the stratosphere. Have a line on his Creature as well and may have to pull the trigger on it at a silly good offer. It just may come at the cost of our TNG...
