Quoted from AlexRogan84:

Thanks! Love this game. Played it a lot as a kid. Getaway, Funhouse, Diner, Party Zone. Great era.
Playfield is a Diamond Plated version, not sure when it was swapped out. Most recent owner had it for 8 years and it came to him that way. It's real nice and has very few areas I've seen of concern.
I'm about to create a new thread for it as there are a couple things not quite right... some electrical oddities I'm hoping others can give me some ideas on.

Some FH were made with diamondplate pf's. Could be original pf. If so, huge score!

Wasn't trying to get you all worked up, just seems like if there is room in the bed, it's safer laying down to completely avoid the possibility of a tip over. It's all good, and glad you're happy out of NJ.

I use fresh tennis balls, I buy them from the dollar store. They come in sets of three balls for a buck.

Frankly I was surprised it was not snatched sooner.

Has all the boards there, battery was removed long ago and it came with legs. Backglass looks mint.

It might actually be just a fuse. I did not look. Spent 2 minutes making sure all was there, tossed the seller the cash and got the hell out of Dodge before traffic closed in.

Considering I can get both at the dollar store, I just might splurge and go on a $5 spending spree!

The dollar store ones are small in diameter, Lowes has the large thick ones.

I think the Quick Draw sign is going to get rethemed!

The bird is flying again!

MPU led was locked on, it looks like someone pulled the battery at one time but not soon enough. I'll put it in my future repair pile when I have a free moment.

I think this pin is going to work in our physical therapy dept for residents after I'm done tuning it up.

Takes more than that to get me worked up!
They are designed to ship upright. Laying it down is not conducive to the way it was packaged at stern . And for anyone laying the box down make sure bottom side of pin is down.
Although the best pizza/tomato pie is in NJ! One of the things that entices me to vist!

#169 safe and secure in her new forever home. This machine is a work of art, especially the backglass.

It feels naked without the topper.

Selection looks great around here. Truly.

Guess now I know why they didn't show the cab in the ad... lol

// no, I didn't offer on it as I'm not working on any project that might need donor parts from this. Sadly, that's all I see here.

It almost looks like that cabinet is metal?
Offer them $5 and burn it right where it sits.

Or spray the mechs down with a garden hose, and list it on fleecebay “Lightly used, pulled off a mostly working machine”

Haha, I opted to just....not say anything at all. The rest of the sale had lots of fun collectible stuff...at sky-high prices. So I left with nada. Can't win em all. Cab was definitely wood... and I shudder to think what it looks like--or SMELLS like--after the next three days in the Kansas sun. As famously said once on Simpsons.... Stop, stop! He's already dead!

Try to get it for $5 or $10. Or offer to haul it away for free.

Grab the transformer and the lockdown bar as well as the lockdown receiver. If the coin door is not all beat up, get that, too. Definitely the lockdown bar.

It's bad and they know it's bad because they only included pics of the head online. I drove 20 miles to look at it. I wouldn't have bothered if I had known there was an active rat's nest trapped under the glass lol

Harbor Freight sells paint mask with vapor filters for around $12-$14 I think. That a pair of heavy dish washing gloves can make tasks like that easier to do.

I'm not sure where the transformer is mounted. If in the cabinet, it would be the only item in there that might have value. Nothing else under the play field would be worth your time, except maybe for the wiring.

Oh yeah, load it in your truck, find a dumpster to park next to, and start chucking the junk.

EDIT: This is where it would pay to have a battery powered reciprocating saw. Just cut off the end of the cabinet and you got all of the value from that pin. 10 minute job.

Feces: The Pinball Game

Actually, with a new Playfield, new cabinet, legs, new wiring, boards, mechs and decals, you’d have a decent project.
