I just finished driving 850 miles round-trip in 24 hours (aided with lots of coffee and Cinnabons) to pick up a CQ Xenon. I purchased this stunning pin two months ago from @damonator. He was kind enough to show me his pins and phenomenal backglass collection. I also got to test out my BedderCovers stretchwrap rain cover. Jjsmooth suggested it to protect pins when transporting in the rain. The stuff worked like a champ! I think everyone needs a roll of this in the back of their pickup! https://www.beddercovers.com/

Quoted from Scoot:

I have been collecting pins for a few years now but never had the space to keep them all in one place. I had pins at work, at friends, and in storage. I just bought a place big enough to accommodate them all. It's like a pinball family reunion.
[quoted image]

Tell us about that storage space. Is it a stand-alone building? Is it at your house? How big is it and how many pins are planned? Any future decoration or remodeling plans?

Not mine, but grabbed a game for @ballypin. As I got closer to the pick up location, I realized where I was.

Right hand turn to the infamous Gameseum, left hand turn would leave me high and dry. Neither a good choice.

It clings to painted surfaces. Make sure truck is clean. The wrap is ~30” wide. Put on in overlapping rows starting at back of truck. The web site has good video instructions. I drove 400+ miles at 70-75 mph (some in pouring rain) and it stayed on just fine

Thanks for the favor. I owe you at Allentown. At least you showed us the better part of the BG with the redhead and perky bits to help ease that left turn. The other one is not too shabby either.

Just yesterday - a pretty great players cond. BATMAN DE - was very excited to pick this up yesterday in London Ontario for a reasonable price. Thanks again Michael Im going to love this machine!

Playfield is going to need attention, and somebody has already 'touched' it with a sharpie marker (Im going to do what I can!), most switches need adjusting or probably replacing, the pop bumpers need some attention, but overall Im just really really happy!

The only thing that I am now noticing is that nobody makes a playfield protector for this game!(???) I guesss I will have to take the existing playfield redraw on pinside and get a custom mylar cut for this baby? Wish me luck on that one. . .

My first pin! Rock, Rock!

Spent today cleaning 30 year’s worth of grime out, along with stripping off the trashed Mylar and laying down the replacement that came with it (paint is so easy to damage on this non-diamond playfield that I either needed to add fresh Mylar or clear coat). Prior owner bought new plastics, Mylar, flipper rebuilds, but then didn’t do any of the work.

I’ve got new rubber and bulbs coming, so I’ll do the plastic replacement then. Thankfully, all the plastic damage is on the stuff included in the CPR kit it came with, none of the impossible to find parts are damaged (Cliffys on the way to keep it that way, too).

Wish I had a tumbler, my hands are beat up from polishing the 1/4 mile of wire frames in this game

You haven't seen the back glass.he kept it in a 3 season room off the house and the temperature changes over 15 years took its toll. It needs some cleaning and adjusting since it stays on player 1 ball 1 but it flips good and I think all the switches work and score properly.
