Dropped off a Deadpool Pro, Picked up a shadow for a friend, also picked up my keeper IJ.
Dropped off the IJ and the Shadow to get restored.
My IJ is in the middle

I'm so screwed up I instantly went to that 24 in the background. Big fan of the series it's still one on the bucketlist to flip for a while.

When I hear you say keeper I wonder for how long but you have owned more IJs then anyone and that one looks minty. Congrats!

I think this might have been the first pic I saw of that translite. It was a must have when I had a totan!

I agree. I wonder if that translite is still being sold anywhere?

Been a great week for the collection..... acquired a No Good Gofers and Fish Tales on Sunday, brought home a White Water on Wednesday and my Oktoberfest arrived today!

Not everyone's favorite Classic Stern, but when the opportunity "struck" to acquire this game I grabbed it (behind the neck of course ).

5J5A7553 (resized).JPG5J5A7553 (resized).JPG

No wear or sunken inserts on a clean playfield (the glass has some tape/sticky stuff on it). I better get to making a plastic protector for the cannon cover.

5J5A7556 (resized).JPG5J5A7556 (resized).JPG 5J5A7557 (resized).JPG5J5A7557 (resized).JPG

Should I not enjoy playing the game at least I have this to look at.

What a week!!! All 4 are really fun games. I added a WH2O early this year and immediately decided I had to find a FT to put next to it. Finally found one out west and shipped her to MI last week. Was lucky to find both with beautiful, re-clearcoated playfields. Enjoy your Gofer-fish-water-fest!

Well, everything fell into place perfectly for this one.
I had a WTB Met pro ad on pinside for a month with no hits. Then Saturday night as I am playing in the final event of our home poker league I received a message from another pinsider with a HUO game he would consider selling. He sends some pics, we chat back and forth and agree on a deal as long as it is in the condition he described upon my inspection.
Then he tells me he is in Las Vegas! Awesome, the wife and I love a pinball roadtrip, and one to Vegas sounds about perfect. I am excited to go see it the following day and continue to play poker.
Later that night I end up winning the tournament which paid a very large portion of the pinball purchase...
Left early Sunday morning with the wife and drove out to vegas, stopping at Rise and Shine steak and egg restaurant near southpointe casino for breakfast, then headed out to Red Rock canyon for an early morning hike...
Resized_Resized_20210523_094523 (resized).jpgResized_Resized_20210523_094523 (resized).jpg
Then proceeded to stop off near the strip and pick up this...

Posted over in the club thread but just brought home a Jack Bot. Had to haul it down two flights of interior stairs without a hand cart. Cardboard sled and ratchet straps did the trick. No pictures of that process but got it home and flipping with no damage to anyone or anything.

Not to derail, but in every picture you used as an example of the ambiguity of a mirror or a double game, it was obvious the double was real and not a copy. Their displays were different, one even had a towel on it and the other did not.

Doesn't matter of course. Just wanted to point that out.

Of course, it could be that your post was also hyperbole, and I totally missed that... Doh!

Humor, but two pins isn't out of the question was my point.

By July or August I'll be posting two restored Flash Gordons side by side if all goes well.

Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:

Those games are awesome!!! Where do you order those? Looks like those awesome Japanese arcade games. My friend is looking for one of them for her place!

For the Vewlix clones and candy cabs or rhythm games you generally have to get in on a container purchase. Nowadays the easiest way to do it is through various facebook groups. I'll DM you some links.

Just one possibility. Cool or Sunlight white LEDs in the GI really will brighten up that game.
