Quoted from BMSPEED:

Brought home an amazing Met premium Pinball Refinery edition. Steve at Pinball Refinery does amazing work. Took this already amazing game to the next level!

Congrats on Metallica. And I really like that alternative back glass on your Stern Pirates.

Don't think I've seen that version Dracula translite, any details? Looks nice

Quoted from mbaumle:

One of my favorite locations in Wildwood Crest closed, and I’m slowly adding games to my collection I used to play there. BSD was one, hopefully I’ll add their Junk Yard next.

It’s about time Max. But get that damn thing out of the sunlight!!! Plus this is what will happen to the red in your cabinet.

Thanks! I thought it was a nice alt version to go with the back alley black pearl mods.

GOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAL!!!!
Picked up the game everyone loves to hate! Also the game that bankrupted Capcom and is the reason we didn’t get a proper release of Big Bang Bar I love it!

I’m the guy who buys the games nobody else wants

The story is that Capcom had a bunch of European distributors from Austria and Germany that day and they lost their minds when they saw Flipper Football, so Capcom thought it was gonna be HUGE! They forgot that “football” isn’t popular here in America

Good find! Thanks for rescuing all the unwanted pins...they need homes too.

Quoted from poppapin:

I found it on EBay and paid a lot to ship one, like $125 or so. Then later I saw it online for less, maybe under $100. I like the black and white, maybe a little muted or low-res, I dunno. It’s a nice alternate, and I do prefer it, but it’s sorta pricey. I think Ministry of Pinball and Retro Refurbs have it. Pinball-translite.com too.

I actually really like this game, and it has some absolutely astounding DMD work in it. the resolution of the DMD is twice that of a normal one so the graphics are really sharp. Nice pickup!

Quoted from Zartan:

Are you collecting Williams became of where you live?!?! Lol

I have to! Ever since we moved here from Ballyville. We lived for years in Sternburg, after leaving Jersey Jackson Hole.

#20363 2 years ago
Quoted from Var1AbL3:

You would need to be almost 7 feet to be comfortable playing it. Thankfully the place we bought it from is giving us normal sized legs tomorrow morning.

I think Todd is 7 ft tall

#20365 2 years ago
Quoted from wayout440:

If someone has already tried unplugging and plugging in display cables with the power on it is likely that the display board U8 GAL IC is toast. One of the symptoms of that is the garbage on the DMD.

Thanks. I’ve read that as well. I’m going to continue to rule out other possibilities and try to narrow it down.

Ah ok, that makes sense. In europe soccer is a big thing

Capcom made sure with their next pin they catered to their American customers. They gave us exactly what we like, booze and babes. Big Bang Bar saved Capcom!

I installed regular legs yesterday and it's much better. If anyone need extra long legs I gave them back to Game Exchange here in Colorado. No use for them here.

Don't get me wrong, nothing beats an affordable Fireball.

But when you know that the previous owner had serious mental issues and took his life about 23 years ago, and you discover his impressive stash of heavy medicines dated 1998 after getting the machine home and drilling the coin door lock, it makes you shiver.

Rest in peace, dude. I will do my best to make your beloved machine live on.

The first picture below shows how I found the machine: inside a trailer and untouched since 1998. The other pictures show that the machine is in quite good shape underneath the filth. Final score: 21,600.

What? I suppose it is the realm of possibility that anyone of us could commit suicide. But as far as the dying goes, don't think in terms that is could happen. Think in terms that it will happen. The only questions are when and how you will make your exit.

I need to make a price list for my girlfriend on how much to sell my pins for. Otherwise, the sharks will circle and come in for the kill.
