Did a job for an older customer who had this as well as a Pinbot and Taxi. The machines haven’t seen service in a good 20 years and the battery holder literally fell right off the board on this whirlwind and there is some acid damage that I’m going to have to try and mitigate but the machine still powers up. He gave me the Silverball backglass and we are trading my electrical service call and the work on his Pinbot and Taxi to get them playable again towards this Whirlwind which he said was too complex for him anyway, I think he was happy to see it go to be honest. Good deal in my book.

Steak was too delicious I can’t have anymore. However I’d be happy to do the work on Wednesday for burgers tomorrow. Somewhat of a botched reference but it’s too bad my buddy wasn’t serving burgers instead would have been perfect.

Finally able to find my daughter’s favorite game and pick one up again. She’s been giving me grief ever since I sold my original restored one.

Sitting around on a Sunday afternoon, spent the day playing Luigi's Mansion with my son until he grew tired of hanging out with me and ventured to his kids youtube, time to pop on Facebook, posted twenty minutes ago at a fair price and less than an hour away? Surely it's gone. Well skipped dinner for a new game. Cab is trashed but playfield looks like it will clean up nice. Don't have a cow man!

Best post of the day on Pinside! Can't beat moments like these with our kids. That's priceless for sure. Sounds like the addiction is already setting in for her. Like father like daughter. I'm sure she'll enjoy that pin for a long time now. Really fun game.

FINALLY! It’s been 5 months since my last pickup so I was having withdrawals... first new pin of 2021! Hollywood Heat (I love this game, Gottlieb/Premier haters be damned!)

Good ol’ the96stang always convinces me to leave with more pins than I planned to!

Didn’t have the funds for the extra game so I did the next best thing... called herbertbsharp my pinball “neighbor” and said I’d bring it back and deliver it as long as I get to come over and play it

Fun trip and everyone involved in the deal is happy!

1) Still no pins for 2021 yet, Star Wars slipped in on 12-23-20

2) Its ok, the HH art is pretty nice and the soundtrack gets stuck in your head.
