Damn, I was 2 then, and playing in a sandbox.
Sometimes when topics get off on something else like this it kind of sucks, but not this, and I hope the mods will let it be.
While at the same time I hope soon to see mostly what the topic is supposed to be about mostly again soon.
(but I would never flag anything, or give anyone a thumbs down, I never have and I never will).
We are all friends, we have just never met in person yet.
Quoted from JohnnyPinball007:While at the same time I hope soon to see mostly what the topic is supposed to be about mostly again soon.
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll be posting in this thread again (fingers crossed).
Got a delivery scheduled for tomorrow, but you never know.
Let me know where the “What machine did you bring home” thread is?
It looks like I ended up in the “What year did you graduate” thread.
Set up and ready to play both of these bad boys. Replaced a few bulbs, little tune up and got them playable. So psyched to have an 1812 back in the lineup.
Definitely one of my favorite games in all of pinball.
Very nice. So you'll be selling the Spidey soon?
Quoted from corvair61:It looks like I ended up in the “What year did you graduate” thread.
Blutto: Christ. Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the f*cking Peace Corps.
Quoted from Scotty_K:Ha! 1980 for me, so that's 40 years for me (coming up on 41)...
Same here...
Man, we were still doing the Hustle before most of you were born!!
Who likes ‘em “thick”? And why’d they make them so heavy?
I thought the “Mars God of War” was a wide body @ 25 1/2”
Then came Laser Ball measuring in at 29”!
That’s a lot of playfield !

Guarantee the Mars weighs more though.

Congrats on the 1812, but I’m super jealous of the Robocop.
Class of 08 here!
Quoted from goodypin18:My first and probably last NIB. Game is insanely good for a standard edition.

Agreed.....but an 8k pin should be good

Thank you sir. Just got the coin door on last week. It's an HEP sample #65.
Quoted from Coindork:If you need a couple of those stationary silhouette targets I have a couple sitting around. The one is notoriously broken on darn near every game because it takes a direct hit from gun and butts right up to the metal ball guide.
Shoot me a PM and I’ll mail you a couple if you want them
Wanted to follow this up with a shout out to Coindork who was kind enough to send me a few replacement targets for my DH... thanks buddy, people like this are truly what makes this hobby great...
Quoted from Briks-707:Finally got my Avengers today.....Sparky looks like he’s peeking in my window lol.
Looking forward to seeing this... when they repair the site!

Oh good. I thought it was just me!
Quoted from Scotty_K:Oh good. I thought it was just me!
At first I thought it was my computer, it is getting pretty old.

"What machine did you bring home today?" sometimes feels like "What machine did you buy today to flip?"
Quoted from pinmister:"What machine did you buy today to flip?"
Skyemont you seem like you are flipping a lot of machines? May be time to invest in a pick up truck or something and quit wasting money on that Home Depot rental trailer. Just saying
Quoted from pinmister:"What machine did you bring home today?" sometimes feels like "What machine did you buy today to flip?"
Spot on! I get more enjoyment out of seeing new picks up that are going into someone’s collection than quick flip pins.
Quoted from Briks-707:I get more enjoyment out of seeing new picks up that are going into someone’s collection than quick flip pins.
I don't know, I do find it entertaining watching the flippers pick up machines to flip and stuffing in their SUV's and rented trailers.
-Give it the good ol' Windex wipe down-good to go

Never thought of that. Good call.
Quoted from Spyderturbo007:I picked up a Prospector yesterday. She needs some work, but the playfield and backglass are in excellent condition. [quoted image][quoted image]
I've only played Prospector at Pinburgh. I've never seen one at a house or location. But from those few plays there, it stood out to me as a damn fun game. I never quite figured out why I enjoyed playing it so much, but it just had that "one more game" thing going on.
Quoted from Coindork:Tonight we had Domino’s delivered.
[quoted image]
[quoted image]
This is our fourth Spooky pin.
Was it delivered in 30 minutes or less?
Quoted from DennisDodel:Was it delivered in 30 minutes or less?
No, but it did arrive in perfect shape.
It was originally scheduled for Monday.
I suspect the Noid was involved in its delay.

If it wasn’t hot it’s free.
Over the moon with my last 4 recent pickups! I can’t believe how fast Stern is cranking out these Avengers!.....I ordered mine on Feb 24th, it rolled off the line on Feb 26th and was delivered & picked up by me in California March 9th!

It's definitely a fun game. Mine needs some work, but I'll get there. The left flipper has the wrong coil and the match unit isn't working so the playfield features never change. It's in really good shape, I'm not worried about it.
Quoted from jvivlemore:TWD Pro. My first pin! Picked it up last night.
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Cool first pin!
Take some time and learn about care and maintenance
And...please .... NEVER transport a Pin with the legs on

I hope you have room for more; these things have a way of multiplying. Enjoy!
(...and ditto on the legs... )
Quoted from gliebig:Good day.[quoted image][quoted image]
A Fathom is one thing. But also getting that Skill Roll machine? That looks like a real cool machine.
