Simpsons Pinball Party supplied by Pinball Heaven in the UK
13 Years old and may as well have been NIB, did the previous owner ever bother to play it?

You're not kidding! Look at the bottom of that thing. No black smudge or marks of any kind. Game looks nice and clean.

My new Hurricane I posted last week after a full shop job and LED conversion. It really shines now and is a lot of fun to play. This one is staying in the collection for a long time.

Picked up two games this week...a BOP and Barb Wire. Both in working order, but need some repairs and shopping.

Someone stuck small jewels to the BOP. Hopefully they will come off without too much trouble. But, not something you see done to a game every day.

Egyptian BOP?

BBOP - Bedazzled Bride of Pinbot.

#1908 8 years ago
Quoted from Colsond3:

That is very cool. To be able to see the history and locations the game has seen is something you often don't have a chance to do...at least not in any great detail. I have a Gottlieb Spider-Man that has a "State of Arkansas Amusement Machine / Gambling Permit" bolted to the front of it. People always tell me to remove it, but I don't think I will. I think it's cool...shows where the game has been (it's now far away in PA) and gives it character. I'm not one that thinks it's cool or attractive leaving "Vince was here '85" scraped down the side of one of my games, but a permit gambling placard as small as this one? I think that stays.

When you ring the door bell, does peter parker answer the coin door?

I can't remember, was that BOP pic in the CL ad or just a fun surprise when you go there? Either way, good pick ups for the prices!

There was a playfield photo in the ad, but I didn't see the bejeweled additions until I was up close.

Nice grabs...that's what your "business" in NJ was??!! LOL. Barb Wire is actually a pretty decent game. I was surprised when I played one two years ago. And BOP is a BOP..bedazzled or not. Fun pin.

Heh, guilty as charged In all fairness, all I said was that I would be in the area, not what I'd be doing there. Didn't want to jinx it.

Although, pretty much any traveling I do these days is usually somehow pinball related in one way or another.

I got into the latest Fathom cpr run thinking.... Well i know it's alot for a playfield but i love the art and I'll run across a Fathom in a year or two and it can be pretty on my wall until then. I got lucky and it looks like it'll never make it to the wall. I've never been so excited anticipating an emailan telling me to pony up $1k.

Backglass is a gem, game needs work like a mo-fo but it'll be shiny one day for sure.

Actually Mary Jane does. It's hard to understand what she's saying once I step in front of the coin door though

If you don't have the doorbell credit button mod done on your pin you're definitely missing out!! Game was actually like that when I bought it home...haven't gotten around to replacing or removing it thus far.

Well it's not a pin but this followed me home today. I've wanted one of these since i was in high school. At least you can see my pins in the background so I'm not breaking any rules right?

Don't feel bad....I have a Blitz arcade, and the kids play it waaay more then any pin that I own. It is good to have variety in an arcade.

#1925 8 years ago

I agree. A lot of guys on here look down on arcade games. I like both.

G'day to everyone form Perth Western Australia, well I'm a Gottlieb fan and had the opportunity to bring home this gem. The backglass is a perfect 10/10 I thought it was a translight however it's original. The machine is Australian delivered and the guy I purchased from has had it for 25 years. The displays come on but machine doesn't boot up. It's a shame that there's so much wear on the playfield. I'm intending to keep this so if any pinside members know where there maybe a better playfield please pm me, I know that Steve Young sold a NOS last year so if the person who bought it is out there please contact me.

There's a lot of solid colors on that playfield. Surely someone could restore the playfield down there.

I picked one up a few months ago, and love it! I never understood why it gets such bad reviews....fan layout, cool toys, funny callouts, popular theme, etc.
