Quoted from Navystan:Good weekend. Picked up WWLE which I sold to a friend and bought back. Also, got a nice HUO STTNG. You can tell by my line up what company I prefer. And, I have a GnR CE coming too.

Amazingly fun game! Mine is welded to the floor.....enjoy!!!
A ruff NASCAR long term project. Has the Tops tournament kit on it. One thing that stinks is the coin door. It had a card reader on it so itll need a hole new coin door with everything on it. Needs at least the left ramp.

I have that left ramp. Metal flap needs attention, but the ramp itself is new.
Message me about it if interested.

Slightly off topic... that Ghostbusters... and the Ecto-1 model and Stay Puft Marshmellow man on top... do you have any little tricks you use to keep them up there? Like adhesive of some kind or some other unnoticeable bracket so they don't come falling down if the machine gets bumped a little too aggressively? I'm wondering because I have a couple non-standard topper things I'd like to put on my own games and don't want to worry about them falling off.

Nice. Alien Poker is awesome...love the BG on that game. I see Cactus too...another fun one you don’t see often.

I wish the glass weren't so crappy on this AP. I mean, it's typical for the title but still. My playfield has some issues but I may touch it up and apply a protector. This was actually one of the first machines I ever bought (my first solid state) so I jumped at the opportunity to get it back.
Cactus Jacks has a pretty meh playfield which is a bummer but it plays nicely. Love the goofiness of it!

No. Selling a few at a time. The pic I just showed are for sale.

I beg to differ - you obviously haven't reached capacity if there's still furniture in the room..........

Nice that picture is much better. After I posted I saw the number of pins you own and I thought yep he's using space anywhere he can. Don't blame you one bit. Enjoy the new pin. Star Wars is on my list even though it gets a lot of flack. Just can't beat the theme!

whoa, let me get this straight, you actually went to see 10 machines before you picked this one???
Quoted from pinostalgia:whoa, let me get this straight, you actually went to see 10 machines before you picked this one???
No, I'm not crazy enough to personally view the other 10 machines as they were in WI, NJ, OH, KY, MO, AL, GA, VA and MI. I am crazy though for being up since 11:00 pm Tuesday night for work and then leaving at 3:00 pm Wednesday to drive 5 hours to Chicago and arrive back home (after a sleep break) at 3:00 am Thursday. I logged about 900 miles between work and play in the past 27 hours.
I played EBD in HS when it came out in '81 and I bought a nice '81 version in 2000 but sold it quickly when I moved into DMD games. The itch for one came back in August and over the course of the past 2 months, I have daily (and hourly) watched the ads on Pinside, FB, Mr Pinball and CL. Every time I thought I had one lined up, the game either already sold or the owner decided not to sell or the condition was too rough.
I REALLY wanted the '81 first run cabinet design but I compromised on this '84 third release. It will cleanup very well.IMG_4053[1] (resized).JPG
When I met the seller to get the game, I noticed a 5' x 5' tapestry hanging on the wall featuring Bally Flip Flop, Sky Kings and Big Show (and a couple stinky Gottliebs). It appears to be an image from Japan (?) and is most likely a shower curtain based on the 12 grommets across the top. I planned to buy it from the seller but he graciously threw it in at no charge.IMG_4055[1] (resized).JPG

Wrong Colonel Sanders! GNR has been paid for. Selling these pins to make extra cash to get cleaning supplies and rubbers.
Quoted from Ballypin:.....when I moved into DMD games.
I ain't ne'er seen a DMD in your coral....unless that stands for Dilapidated Mechanical Display. Do I know you?

I should send you pictures of my Bally Six Sticks project...it fits that description.
My last DMD game was WAY back in 2010 in when life seemed so much simpler. I almost went after a CFTBL during a frustrating EBD search day. I will have one again eventually.
Quoted from Ballypin:I should send you pictures of my Bally Six Sticks project...it fits that description.
You should! I’ve never seen a Six Sticks! DMD’s or not, I know you have a beautiful collection of EM’s.

I fit the description and I'm guilty of that too, lol, the only DMD I ever owned was shaq.

Awesome pick up Ballypin and a very nice addition! I don't think the '84 is all that bad. Unique artwork and more rare I think? Of course I still like the '81 best.
Question: What's your favorite Bally year and favorite of that year?
Still in the van, since I need to do some rearranging.
It was about 97 or so when I was in college. My wife and I were bowling at the student union, and she decided to go into the arcade room and play a pinball game. It was Scared Stiff. I was instantly hooked.
The one on the right is Scared Stiff. Took a couple of decades, but it's mine! Along with a BSD.

My favorite feature of the '84 EBD cabinet is the ability to swing open the backbox door for PCB/wiring harness access without needing to remove the backglass. Very handy.

Jealous - I would take either - but I think I would have preferred the 84 - classic ideally.
I settled for the EBD LE basically because otherwise the price is outrageous when game play is the same. But, I am planning a custom restore (I saw what someone else did - copying it a bit with some changes) so I am excited to have something unique and the LE cabinet is growing on me. I will create a forum post when I start the restore finishing up my Flash Gordon restore now.
EBD is a high school favorite for me too. I have wanted one since I started collecting machines.
