After 4 years of searching, I’ve finally secured a wild Granny. Fresh pick from an old operators trailer.
She’s the only game to survive. The rest were totally disintegrated and this Granny isn’t far behind.
This is gonna get a full all-out restoration.
Baby Pac was my second ever game I picked up and I’ve searched for it’s sister game ever since.
I ALSO secured not one but TWO completely populated spare playfields for Granny and the Gators! Talk about an incredible haul!!!
They are still out there if you look hard enough and harass everyone you meet

Of course we stopped at world famous Knoebels and had a great time too!

So much for social distancing at that establishment.

That place is usually a lot more crowded than that this weekend. The "covered bridge festival" was cancelled due to covid.
It was a two pin kind of weekend with no York show. I was on my way back from my second trip after a two and half hour drive and was almost home when I was rear ended and pushed into a truck in front of me that had its rear bumper made out of a steel I-beam. The truck was lifted so I went under it. It was then nice enough to take off.

Congrats on the new pins.
Bummer about the accident.
Hope everybody is ok.

Don’t worry about the truck driving off. It’s the guy that hit you in the rear that you do not want to get away.

Been there done that on the way to Allentown last year. That sucks, glad you’re alright!!! Was the pin in the back when it happened? If so I’m shocked it survived so well.

So far the 3 GatG I’ve seen all have had a environmental Discs of Tron bottoms.
Bally Midway loved reusing cabinets.
My city slicker is made from a Rampage! Crazy!

So Discs of Tron comes 3 ways from the factory.
1) Standard upright
2) Environmental or EDOT
3) Cut EDOT
The third is the environmental where the Back was cut off at the factory and modified to be sold as a standard upright.
Looks like this is one of the things they did with the wood from the cut EDOTs.

Thanks! My 13 year old co-pilot and I came out unscathed and so did the pin. I had to go to the tow yard the next day and get the game out the back. I brought it home and set it up and it fired right up. It just needs a good shop job. I’m shocked it fit into my wife’s Subaru Crosstrek when I went to go pick it up from the tow yard. It looks like I may be on the hunt for a new pin hauler.

Nice addition! BSD is a killer pin. I personally like it with lightning flipper bats, although the blood red standards look excellent. Either way, stacking multiballs on this underrated pin is just awesome. Enjoy!

Thanks! My wife rolled her eyes at me when I put them up. But I love them.
I got them from a pinsider years ago. I have no idea how he made them. They are 12” x 12” and very durable. The top feels similar to a laminate tile and the core is a rigid hard plastic.

Depends where you live - i got rear ended by an old lady with a dog on the passenger seat in a GMC Yukon, they didnt even give her a ticket. The officers discretion - they started chatting, lived in the same town, long story short, no ticket.

For what reason would she get a ticket? Following too close? Maybe? If that’s even a thing where you live. But that’s a stretch. The driver would have to been intentionally riding your tail. We were in heavy traffic and it was just unfortunate.
Quoted from Murphdom:For what reason would she get a ticket? Following too close? Maybe? If that’s even a thing
Most def a thing. assured clear distance. If you hit someone from behind (without anyone pushing you into them) I would think that’s a ticket anywhere.

Wow - rough neighborhood when old ladys with dogs rear end you right on the passenger of your vehicle !

That happened to me too! 8am rush hour traffic. Lady texting. And in the Allentown thread I had some clown making fun of me for it

Except in some cases, like mine, where the driver NEVER hit the brakes when she plowed into the first car at 65 mph so I had no warning when she came to a complete dead stop even with a 3-4 second gap, that’s not enough time to come to a complete stop especially in rush hour traffic when nobody lets you have more than a car-length of space!

SPECTRA IV IN THE HOUSE!!!
Big thanks to Shawn, Mk1Mod0 for holding onto this game since April till it could be delivered to me! Nobody expected this craziness to happen.
Now I get to work on this thing and make it beautiful. Love the look of it and the novelty!

Quoted from Charlemagne1987:Alice Cooper is in the house. Super fun game. I’m so excited to have it, though getting it upstairs and into the office was no easy task, but that was my only option because the game room is full of games I’m not willing to part with.

My friend has an AC. I'd love to have one. It has staying power. No room at all here.

He’s correct, at least here in Michigan if you rear end someone the statute assigns liability to the driver in the rear. Assured clear distance ahead. There are rare instances where there is no liability, but that’s uncommon in rear-end cases. It may also be true that police discretion results in no tickets sometimes, but fortunately that has no bearing on civil liability for causing a crash. In fact, the question of whether or not the at-fault driver was even given a ticket is not admissible.
Quoted from Pinkitten:Setting up a very special pin tomorrow...just returned from 9 hour round trip to PA...sold my AIQ LE to add this gem...will post pics soon! I just noticed a little critter on the back of that car.

It was still NIB. I played another AIQ owned by my buddy and although I liked it a lot, I was pretty sure I wanted a high-end 90s Bally/WMS from my wishlist instead. Picked one up today. Setting up tomorrow!
