Looks great next to the John Deere
Quoted from Ceckitti:I’m just curious, were you worried about the weight on those stairs? Or did you not have any help getting it up and did it that way to make it lighter to do solo?
It's a hard 90 degree turn and the landing is too small to accommodate the size of the cab+head. We've moved some down intact (BK2K was less than fun) but now that I've gotten used to WPC wiring I find it far easier to just take things apart to make the move, then reassemble. Added bonus since I can then do the entire move myself.
If I want to take something down intact, we have to pivot the cab 90 degrees from the 2nd or 3rd step from the bottom and that forces us to put the machine into really weird angles where things could really go awry. Just not worth the potential problems imo.
Huge shoutout to ViperJelly for allowing this opportunity to own a Clown. Extra special thanks for the amazing job shipping this rarity to me.

I can’t wait to see my partner’s face. She knows how I feel about clowns haha
Quoted from eagle18:How about posting some more good pics on the Mata Hari EM &SS thread!! Maybe with the glass off.
Finally got around to it. Check the mata hari club thread.
Quoted from Pmedic871:Been on the hunt for this for few years, gonna need some love----but don't they all?

My wife would divorce me if I brought this in the house.....
Quoted from DCRand:They just keep following me home. My wife is talking about doing an intervention.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice.
I think most of us are headed towards an intervention. Lol

Tell her that an intervention is not needed until you get 25 pins.
Quoted from Slogan1111:Nice.

Always room for one out two more. Can't tell which Stern that is. You happen to be the one that got the great deal on that Aerosmith?
How many of these way old pins being drug home are just going from one purgatory to another purgatory? Someone sold a project he lost interest in and someone bought a project he is "currently" interested in.
Quoted from PinballManiac40:Tell her that an intervention is not needed until you get 25 pins.
Well, only have 12 in the current "collection", but the Top Score is the 41st I have purchased in 4.5 years have been in the hobby. So does that count as more than 25, or do I only have to count the ones I currently own? And she is wrong anyway, I can stop any time. Really, I can.
Quoted from guard:Lousy early morning pic but worth the 03:30 wake up to get out on the road and pic up minties Atlantis and Big Hit.
[quoted image]
Nice, and worth the early morning drive.
Quoted from DCRand:They just keep following me home. My wife is talking about doing an intervention.
[quoted image][quoted image]
Explain to her that you have an unlucky 13 number of pins and you MUST get past that! Good luck

Managed to get the Getaway downstairs without dying and/or destroying it. It was touch and go for a minute. I was convinced I was going to have all sorts of things to fix with everything that went wrong.
I do need to replace the plastic at the supercharger entrance now and something is strange about the threaded brackets for the leg bolts in the back.. But that's for another day.
Sweet Jesus I hope I'm done moving pins around for a bit, at least until my Eight Ball Deluxe hardtop is done!
IMG_20201003_211944 (resized).jpgHow did this D grade pin end up in my suv, and why am I spending 8+ hours on a road trip to get it?
To restore my badly swollen TX Sector cabinet of course. I’ve been looking for a donor Gottlieb 80B cabinet for a year now. Thanks to edward472 for finding one for me with nice clean cabinet edges, i.e. no swelling.

congrats, i'm in the same boat with my tx, how are you going to adapt the raven head to the tx?
Quoted from pinostalgia:congrats, i'm in the same boat with my tx, how are you going to adapt the raven head to the tx?
That’s a great question as some 80B titles had the displays up to and some down below. I’m not as the TX head is is great condition. The pin was on its back and an overhead water leak ruined the front and sides of the lower cabinet only. I bought cabinet decals from Pinsider @hassanchop.
If your swelling is not too bad you can sand off the swelling and use fiberglass resin to reform the edges.

Yep, I have the same swelling if not worse even on the head.
Quoted from jawjaw:Had opportunity to get JP2 pro earlier this week from friend. I've been wanting one so couldn't pass it up. Thanks, Jim! What a great pin.

Congrats! 6 fits perfectly in that row.

What is that fuzzy looking stuff? It looks like some sort of veneer made out of pressed wool that got wet and starting growing fur.
The wood base on the bottom and side looks solid.
Ok two days ago. Took a little to get it playing. And it still only play a two player game. But back glass and playfield are really nice.

Great pick up.
You will not be disappointed.
Fortunately the EM repair section here is filled with wizards that can help you get this thing up to snuff.
