Quoted from Ritewing:All,
Picked up a HUO Austin Powers yesterday at an auction. Drove 6 hours to pick it up, then spent the evening with some friends in Connecticut. Drove the 6 hours back home today, and we played with it for over two hours.
Everything works perfectly.. The playfield needs cleaned, as the black belts have dirtied it. Other than that, everything works and is perfect.
I paid $3,000 for it so I am pretty happy.
I would like to know how to find out how many total games played is, but I don't see that as an option.[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
Nice haul! I see lots room for more pins at your place!
Quoted from Dallas_Pin:911 miles. 2 up, 1 back and met 2 great Pinsiders in the process! Fun title to add to the DE collection.

A couple Cliffys on the scoops and that baby is a Jedi!
Great haul. Will it go near Peter Parker and Bruce Wayne?
Quoted from Pinkitten:A couple Cliffys on the scoops and that baby is a Jedi!
Have something better up my sleeve
Not at MY home yet but wanted to share now so I can keep up with Colson.
Been searching several years for a better condition Bally Flip Flop playfield to swap into my repainted cabinet. Finally found a good donor machine in VA 2 months ago but enlisted the help of a friend in the area and fellow pinsider JustageFehler to pickup today and store for another month until I can pickup.
This game hooked me in the summer of '76 and this makes the 5th Flip Flop I have owned in over 31 years of collecting.
Still looking for a sample or prototype version that has differences such as a metal top arch, green colored flip flags, yellow rails and older graphic bottom apron.

love flip flop. I want one with a restored playfield one day
Big thanks to my buddy drypaint for alerting me on this project EBD just an hour away! Two weeks ago I purchased a new playfield, plastics set and backglass from CPR too...crazy timing.
The biggest issues so far is a bad coil for the "8 ball" drop target and some burnt out or always on insert lights.
This will be my first restore so it will be a long process, but I'm looking forward to it!

Of course I had to park it next to Houdini which I got last fall.

Hope you enjoy Hot Wheels along with your Houdini!
it was a few weeks ago, but i haven't been in Pinside in a while. 17 hours, 3 states, just shy 1k miles RT, 100 degrees in the shade when i loaded it up. one of those games i figured i'd never get a shot at owning since they come up for sale so rarely in my region and i hate spending a bunch of money on a high-priced game without being able to check it out in person first. and considering the condition, this one was very well priced.
not a huge fan of the dark LED job so i'm planning to lighten it up when i do my next Comet order, but it's not quite as bad in person as the pic makes it out to be.

Nice haul!
Some Pinstadiums will work wonders in that CV!
Quoted from pinzrfun:Also not a pin, but lotsa musicians on here, and I know how you guys like the thrill of the chase....i won it on eBay with a ridiculously low bid - seller had zero feedback, local pickup only which probably scared people off. Her son moved to Germany years ago and amp was too expensive to ship. She also threw in a 12 string acoustic w/hardshell case, a couple guitar stands and 8 wall hangers. I'm in SE Mich, amp was in Brooklyn, NY, about 1250 miles round trip. I grabbed a co-pilot, left at 5am and back home by 1030pm, including stopping for a couple New York slices, couple photo ops, and picking up some lawn ornaments in PA for the wife.
We made good time [quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
YES, some REAL, authentic Pizza! I feel bad for folks who live in other states. Every state, I always sample the pizza, and at best it tasted like our gas station pizza! It's a travesty! I've found NY, parts of VT and PA are the only spots with good-ass pizza.
Quoted from bluespin:But Congo, Shadow and Johnny Mnemonic were horrible movies, but great pins.
Johnny Mnemonic is so awful and cringy that I love it. The story behind how that movie got made is even better. Basically they threw as much junk as humanly possible into one script and asked for a HUGE budget and Sony practically jumped out of their seat, check in hand!
Quoted from Pinkitten:Like pee, of course! Actually, like cardboard and shipping materials.

You're out of your element, Donny.

I have never had ass pizza. Tell me more?

LOL, Listen Mr. Toga, There is a state not on your list that I would say destroys PA, VT and your up state pie .
Now, if you want to brag about that little bar behind the track on Frank Sullivan place called Siro's, I'm your Huckleberry!
Quoted from mtn-:I have never had ass pizza. Tell me more?
Inspired by Egyptian Dung Beetles it is a rare delicacy.
Quoted from freddy:WTF?

Look closely at that photo. The cube van behind the Dodge Ram is the vehicle that is painted up.

You know, when the guy handed me those slices, they looked like a 79 cent Jenos frozen pizza - I dont know what was on them, but damn were they good! Must have been some Brooklyn love or something...
Just picked up this good ass game
Rarest game I own now, 1 of 54 made!
Double feature I also snagged a CT-48 on the way! The only machine I’ve ever regretted selling so far! This one is far nicer and I’m glad to have it.

Quoted from sixtyfourbits:Just brought this one home. It’s been on my wanted list for a while now. This one has a pretty decent cabinet and playfield hiding under a level of dust and dirt. Quite excited to clean it up and play it.

I love my Robocop. You will have lots of fun with this.

Nice grab there! Wish I could upvote twice. Let me know if you need a manual. I was going through all mine the other night, and have one if you need it.
Alphabetizing and color coding by manufacturer. 4 bins so far. Bad enough I already spiral bind all of them.
I have definitely and dramatically lost my battle with OCD.

I'd love a Robocop as well. My only complaint is the ED-209 on the playfield is horrible and super cheap looking. Would it really have been that hard to get it anywhere close to looking like the real thing?
Love that Funhouse. I have had a few, but I ever had that one, it would never leave. Even the powder coating is perfect for this game.
Quoted from yzfguy:New decals, playfield, powdercoating, etc, etc.
If the original Rudy isn't creepy enough, this one is over the top

I love it. Creepy as hell. It’s like an Insane Clown Posse retheme.

Very cool for sure!

Powdercoating looks amazing on that game!
I do see a missing post rubber
Snagged a Haunted House for a pretty fair price. My 2nd Gottlieb in 6 weeks (after TX Sector). This one's gonna be a project. Hasn't worked in about a decade. Needs a new backglass, playfield cleaning & touch-up, MPU repairs....and removing a lot of dirt and oxidation. Gonna be a challenge, but eventually it'll look great next to Black Hole!
That blue Powercoating is perfect ! Do you know the name of it ? Don't care for Rudys make over though. Don't know if you know but you got a early run of those sideblades. They only did a few with Rudy on that side.
Quoted from EJS:Powdercoating looks amazing on that game!

Yup!
5d3e46bcbaec8ec831848008a18ec3580d55ef61 (resized).jpgGot Nudge-It all setup! It came with all the factory paperwork and envelope. It’s pretty awesome. Even has some of the original cardboard packaging still stapled on the back. The Namco Arcade got the game in, unpacked it and just left it sitting to earn.
Most the rubbers rotted off it so it’s basically extra hard mode!
I’m glad to have this weird little game. It’s pretty addicting. It’s cool to be the second owner of this thing too. Straight from the source!

Robert Stone did the powder.
Cool, didn't even notice the sideblades difference! Hey, thanks all. Does anyone know if the lampshade assembly is available anywhere? I was 4 am searching for the modded lampshade and realized my whole assembly has been replaced with a spot light. It doesn't look bad, but it's gonna bug me that it's missing
Also curious about opinions on 3d vs. mirrored backglass.
Quoted from JHS71:In front of million?
Wow, I can't believe I didn't see that! While I was in there, I put colored post sleeves all around.
Got this a few days ago ,Exhibits Shooting Gallery, got it from a guy who was closing his used car lot and garage due to covid ,no business. He said it had been sitting in a back office in his garage for 20 yrs or more and now he was selling everything . It's pretty clean for a 1954 model.
It mostly works except for a few things
It's kind of neat the operator can set it up to give back your dime if you get a perfect score ,no misses including the 5 bonus targets with the 5 additional shots you get for hitting the first 20 targets .It can also be set up with a match unit ,mine is missing the coil and rod for the match score reel. The instructions say the owner can award a prize if the match is made
I need the other half of the coin shute ,see pic,if anyone out there has one
Quoted from Harvs:Is that a turd peeking out the back of the truck? Yep! Gonna need A LOT of love to get her flippin..
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]
how many more "turds" you're hiding inside that enclosed trailer?
Quoted from pinostalgia:how many more "turds" you're hiding inside that enclosed trailer?
NO turds allowed in the trailer.. Theres about 2000lbs of toys in it tho! Will be revealed at a later date, maybe...
Here's a neat pic I happen to have on my phone though... Bahhaaaa!
