Hahaha. Come on man! It was my daughter’s request (although she didn't want to make the 8 hour trek each way with me).
And you know I step it up a notch, so I added a belt. LMAO.
[quoted image]

Thanks God he didn’t show us the bat club!

You could have really stepped it up a notch and put on some Bat Man Underoos.

I got one! Thanks to Pinside for the E-mail letting me know this was put up for sale earlier this afternoon. Turns out it was only 10 minutes away.

Newest addition! 15 years for uploading photo sideways! [quoted image]

Great choice!

Hook up an external sub to JD - sounds amazing. Really becomes a different pin w/an external sub. Lot's of bass hiding in the sound track that goes unnoticed w/o a sub.

Brought home this beautiful IMDN today - custom powdercoat, mirror blades, and all the color mods from PinMonk

Looks nice! I'd take the plastic leg guards off, though. They can mess up the cabinet decals. The metal standoffs Stern uses now are enough.

#16865 3 years ago

Ahh good to know - wasn't sure if they were needed to further protect the legs.

Not a pickup today as i already posted i had picked it up yesterday. Just an update. Still has 2 toasted coils (so no eft sling or left pop right now) but everything else has been sorted. LEDd it. Adjusted some leaf switches. Buddy of mine has a lamp board kit for me. Everything is coming along now.

Nice pick up man! Dunno how you found that way out here! Devron mentioned that was closer to ten years ago that he cleaned that game up! Crazy the life of a pinball machine! I once drove 16 hours round trip to pick up a BSD.. turn it on and see my local friends initials are g.c. and find out he owned it years ago. Changed hands a few times and no one ever erased or beat it!

Honestly never seen this one before. Let me know what you think of this game after you've played it a bit. I'm likely making my first personal pin purchase soon. It's probably gonna be 80s Bally, Gottlieb or Sys7/non-top 50 sys11 Williams stuff. This looks like Gorgar a bit in the PF and shots, just with one of them weird left outlanes where you gotta nudge when the time is right. All the better, one of those at home would make a better player out of me.

I had a Gorgar (for.less than a month). I like Gorgar and have access to 2 of them still (though it would be so much better with lane change).
This game is nothing like Gorgar though. Also these drops are so satisfying. Gorgar drops..... well they drop i guess but im.not feeling anything.
Really enjoying this one so far.
Id easily recommend it.
Much harder to find and pricier than a Gorgar though.
If you were closer id say come play it and will sell you a Firepower
I have one too many games in the house now

Brought home a project with lots of potential. Cab is a bit rough but the playfield looks amazing under a full Mylar. Started removing it to see. Haven’t finished removal yet(adhesive and a little Mylar still on) but just had to take a picture.

Skateball would be a good choice. I would like to have a chance to play that 4-flipper monster.

If you like Williams System 7, consider looking at a Laser Cue.

8 hours of driving to pick up my 9th machine...fitting that it is a Stern Nine Ball! The seller broke the playfield glass 5 minutes before I arrived, but luckily 99% of it went to the floor and I found only a few chunks inside. Machine is working but will need some typical TLC, cleaning and un-hacking to make her shine.

You are in Mirco's backyard. Consider seeing if he would use your NB play field for a pattern to reproduce these. I talked with Mirco two years ago about doing my Nine Ball. He said it would work for him. And mine is not as nice as yours. I'm sending you a PM.

And I would go home happy. I love Firepower, and thinking on it - it's really a perfect first pin. Just rollover switches, spot targets and pops, seems pretty simple from a maintenance standpoint. And it's got lane change, because it's the game that invented 'em!

Who do you find best on parts, availability and shiping from the big websites?

Just picked up a game that needs a lot of work like this getaway.

I just picked up a game from a guy who had just picked up a JY and RFM both looked like they had never had a ball played on them. He got them for $2100 each and they seriously looked like they had just came out of the box.

As sure as death and taxes.

I'm trying to cut down to "the best" and its still difficult, particularly if it is a title that you brought back from the dead.

Like contemplating selling one of your kids.
