Looks like you ended up with 2, were the other three in bad shape or did you just want the 2 titles you have?

We got nearly drowned yesterday on our way in to Chicago. Seems every time I drive in to/through Illinois I am met with the storm of the century. This time I had spots where I could barely see the road and low spots where water was nearly up to the bottom of the truck doors. Wild.

Nothing like some Selena Gomez to get you through that rough drive!

It was hell just finding something that was...uh.. Music? Lol

Are you trying to corner the market on DE pins?
Quoted from KSUWildcatFan:Damn, those are some solid picks. Are you made of solid gold?!
Nope, just careful with the play money. Two or three will be for sale, just wanted the DE titles. Next Gen was really fun so might stick around

I hear ya. I just went over 10K on the 8 I now own and I'm a bit queasy from that. But I like where the lineup has gone:
T2
World Cup Soccer 94
Space Shuttle (hardtopped)
High Speed (hardtopped)
Eight Ball Deluxe (being hardtopped)
Cactus Jack's
Meteor
F-14
Not quite the star power some people have but not bad for 10K and 1.5 years in the hobby IMO. I've gone through 14 total machines, wheeling and dealing those I've sold along the way with hopes of rolling into something else.
Still, my picks these days are usually much narrower and mostly near retail or thereabouts. No crazy scoops of late!
Safe travels!
Quoted from Ballypin:Colson who ??
Great scores my friend.
Cole , all but forgotten !
Home safe and dry, the Stern is the Vengeance Premium model. I hope the wife unit does NOT take a shine to it. Lol.
What a run.

Oh I blew past the 10K mark sometime ago, lol!
There has been a lot of wheeling and dealing though and I do most of my own repair work which helps. When you get a good deal you just have to run, what can I say? There has been very few if any "splurge" purchases that I regret later. Money in the bank or pins you can play? As long as you are not in debt and paying interest, sinking a little money in pins which you can roll over later without taking a haircut isn't a bad thing. It took me a while but I view them as rentals that sometimes you actually make a few bucks on, I really love the restoration process the best though.
P.S. Really took a shine to early Williams with Blackout, Space Shuttle is on my radar to have a go at one of these days! Good Hunting!
Quoted from RWH:Colson, takes one day's off and his subjects dethrone him, long live the new King gdonovan!
Colson is still the King!

I’d love to find a nice condition torpedo pin

We are only care takers! Preserving for the next owner/ care taker!

This one was restored a few years ago, needs some minor tuning. Playfield has been clearcoated, new translite too.

Yeah I guess I'm going to have to concede to you there, Colson see's more pins in a month than Stern does

I'm still small-timing it lol. Wife doesn't complain too much about it.. For now.
Good luck to you also! Lots of shuttles out there! My friend loves blackout, and it just got a hardtop made for it.
Is it just me or has anyone else noticed PA. appears to be the pinball mecca of the States??? Look back through this thread pinball machines are flying all over the place in that state, like watching an ant colony.

There is an area north of Boston I have pulled a few pins out of too but PA is clearly a pin mecca.

That’s not a bad line up at all. Nice.

It matches my skill set fairly well -- mostly pretty simple, not overly complex kinds of games. New(er) games are very frustrating to me.

That goes for me as well. Someone showed me the factory manual for one of the newer games, Lord of the Rings perhaps? And stated it took 45 minutes just to go through the rule section!
No thanks, not my style. I find a 5 to 10 minute long game about perfect with 20 minutes on the outside my limit. If it goes that long I start making the game rules progressively harder.
In other news since I have to be manager on duty today... work printer goes "brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

Nice pickup. I see though that you put WPC legs onto the DE Star Trek. Sorry, just my OCD nocticed that.

Nah, just the new set that was provided. One of several minor items I will address in near future.

What a gorgeous example. I might have to come over and take notes for my restoration! That is genuinely the NICEST TA I’ve ever seen. EVER!

And a Laser War with topper?? - Hey, if you or a family member ever need a kidney, I'd trade both mine for that bad boy.
Seriously, let me know if you ever want to sell LW, I miss all 3 I sold, especially my minty one damnit!
