Picked up this Ship Ahoy yesterday. Not sure I needed another project but how can you not when you see one at a rummage sale. Needs a bunch of inserts re-glued but should clean up good.
[quoted image]

When you see a pinball machine at a rummage/garage sale for a good price, it doesn’t matter what it is, you HAVE to buy it. State law.

If anyone was wondering, a wide body will fit in a 4 door Wrangler. So excited for this game!

Machine number 2 is in the house! Picked up this 1973 Bally Time Zone that had been in someone's house for the last 20 years. Mechanically everything is 100% just needs a whole lotta elbow grease and a fresh coat of paint to return the cabinet to its previous glory!

Huh, this is interesting. I've seen that game entitled "buccaneer" instead of "ship ahoy". Looks identical otherwise. Did anyone else notice this?

Ship Ahoy is the AAB (add-a-ball) version of Buccaneer. Same art package and layout.

Might want to adjust the left flipper and take off the flipper band to keep things even.

Haha, that right flipper is coming off, it appears to be incorrect style anyway. And if you look real close there is a regular ol' rubber band on the right slingshot...lol...I definitely have a project on my hands.

Now that the taverns are opening back up, that's good to know for
the ones left over after last call..
sorry, a friend came over and I had a few..

Just rolled in last night with a Kings and Queens. I'm really happy with the playfield. A little scoop wear but probably expected for this age? Cabinet decent with several high scores immortalized on the side. Back glass has been touched up.....ahhh....not in the best way. I'm considering a replacement glass at this point. Don't let the picture fool you.

Here is an example of both, tossing these in the market next week.

Not today but has been a great month! Got a good deal on a beat up F14, bought back my first pin Speakeasy from the guy I sold it too and picked up a Rollergames in Saint Paul two days after the riots. Ran out of room but found nooks and crannys to put them in until I can convert the kids unused playroom into an arcade.

Not a pin but thanks to RonSS who picked this 72’ Midway Bullseye EM dart game up for me I was able to bring “Iggy” & “Hank” home. It needs a good cleaning, a line cord, and a little tweaking but it should be an easy fix. I wanted to have something a little different in the game room.

Posted in the Rick and Morty thread but couldn’t resist my favourite thread here. I’m just so frickin jacked about this pin!! Worst part is, 2.5 hours to home, gotta rip straight to the golf course as I have a match play tee time at 6:12. It’s gonna kill me to be on the course (which is my favorite place on earth)

Yesterday, but CL scores can still happen! Slight battery leakage, cracked playfield glass (yikes! plate glass!) and the side rails are all pried to hell, but thankfully PinballLife makes replacements. The pf is in great shape except right at that center rollover. Backglass is a solid 9.5 too!

I need to hurry up and get my backyard game room finished up! Hurting today from all the ridiculously steep, curved stairs I had to lug it down!

Yup. I know there was pedestal option with a coin door built into it available as well. It doesn’t have the coin box. Do you have one of these style dart games? They made a bunch.

Yes, I have the exact same game, although mine does not have the pedestal and is just a wall hangar.

I've seen a lot of these but never one with a base like that. It one ever popped under near me, I'd have to buy it. I like that idea of a game hanging on the wall.

Yep, the great thing about these is that you can ad a game to your game room without taking up any space since you can hang it on the wall

I remember playing this at a pin parlor in Alexandria VA circa mid seventies... it was a wall unit similar to the one in this pic. Love the hipster art on the BG, but what's with the name "Iggy"?

I've got the "modern" version of one of these with a PCB called Electro- Dart. They are pretty fun to play when you have people over and want to have a drink and sit and chat and take a break from pinball.

Not mine, but I helped assist and encourage IMMEDIATE pickup.. And he got it.. For $900. I'm gonna puke. But I'm thrilled for my friend.

Bringing home something from Chicago for myself this weekend, though less exciting than a $900 getaway...

Yeah, boring glass imo but I usually don't care much about what the glass looks like as long as it's not in bad condition.

I'm not jelly of his pickup, not at all....

Shit...I don’t think I could say no to any DMD game for $900. Well, maybe Street Fighter.

There are plenty I wouldn't want to KEEP for $900 but I know I could turn every single one of them for profit in order to build toward something I DID want. That's about the only way I can afford most pins anymore.
