Scored this SBM today
It’s been in the same family for 37 or 38 year's
Hasn’t been been turned on in over 13 years
Everything works missing a couple of posts and one wire form. Only had to travel 37 miles one way. 200.00 bucks.

... damn. Congrats!
Quoted from Pinkitten:Good story! There was an Atari 2600 at my Grandma's house (my uncles had one) so my Dad bought my brother and sister and I an Odyssey 2 by Magnavox. We had KC Munchkin
Man....I can’t tell you how many marathon KC Munchkin tournaments my cousins and I had back in the late 70s early 80s!!
I still have an Odyssey console in the closet boxed up. No games for it though.

Great score! That’s cheaper than a zizzle
And way better
I had my eyes set on buying a machine recently and finally pulled the trigger last week. Drove down with a buddy and picked up a very pretty STTNG.
I couldn't help myself and went out and got number 2 today; Dirty Harry.
Couldn't be happier.
(Slugfest is a rental. Love that too)
Forgive the double image, pinside on mobile is being funky.

So someone is renting out pins? Just pins or coin-op in general? I thought some along those same lines and actually thought it might be a better way to limit damage as opposed to a route. I'm assuming you as the renter are responsible for damage above and beyond normal, like a kids initials carved in it etc.?

My roommate and I had contacted an operator who's in our league back in February (the before times) about rentals to see if we'd be suited to own. He was the only guy around who seemed interested in doing monthly rentals at all in the area.
Since the pandemic, I've learned that a bunch of owners started offering rentals so I'd Google or hit up some owners you know.
As far as damage and stuff, our guy said he'd come and do repairs during the rental period and it was included but it hasn't come to that yet. I don't have kids and the cat is reasonably tamed so I dunno about crazy damage.
Happy hunting!

Apparently there is always room for one more

One or two small wear spots all in the blue. A little bit up around the pops. Overall pretty decent.

Not really interested in renting one myself, I just thought as a business it may have true potential.
Quoted from Colsond3:Driving home and this hit the hull.
Hey weren't you just saying a buddy of yours dropped a game off and you didn't have room for it, oh yeah you got it bad, terminal patient I'm guessing.

Very similar layout to a certain early Williams classic!
Quoted from Gornkleschnitzer:Hey, this isn't a pinball machine...
Do you mean "yet"?

Precisely the word below the photo!
Will be the "hottest" game of 2020:

sweet game there,,,,

I said no such thing.
I had already committed to this and the Embryon. Sadly, I painfully had to pass on a Medusa. But when a Torpedo Alley pops up, you make room.

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!
Torpedo Alley is the most criminally underrated DE ever made. The game is just awesome. Coding is packed. Flows
like water. 80s cheese galore. And the best part, a wireform trifecta!
Congrats!

Congrats. I see you got wood. Looks like big wood.
Edit....That's what she said.

It’s a great game. Audio and light show are awesome. I had a pretty damn nice one 5 or 6 years ago (pic below). Should’ve never sold it. Added it back to my wish list in 2016. Glad to have another one.

Beautiful colors on the cabinet and playfield. Very low plays.

And then, I was on the case.
Quoted from DuffysArcade:Helped a friend pick this up today. It was a 6-hr round trip, but this fairly rare game is totally rad and if he didnt buy it, I would have! It has some serious wiring hacks to un-do but it's gonna look great eventually
