Quoted from Colsond3:I can recognize those mischievous eyes anywhere. Unicorn beat me to the punch. Congrats on that one!
Looks like it’s in great shape.
Well, if I can't beat you to the deals I gotta beat you somehow

Quoted from Coindork:Brought this home last night.
Very nice condition but in need a good cleaning and full shop job.
Started going through it last night with nethawk86 and fixed all the errors (27 in all).
Mostly bulbs out, a couple stuck switches and one completely dead switch that we replaced. Couple loose wires etc. Game is working 100% now as it should and not throwing any errors.
Need to order a few things and then the cleaning begins. [quoted image]
Great Capcom title. I love my Pinball Magic. Also, they look amazing with a color DMD. Just sayin'.

Quoted from ssbodyman:Didn't bring it home it was dropped off in my garage. Who you gonna call? My brother in law she's in the basement now.
Nice. And I spy that Mystery Castle down there by Freddy.
Awesome line up.
Quoted from gdonovan:Road trip! No guarantee of purchase but a nice drive and see what we see. On the want list.

Star Wars perhaps
Quoted from gdonovan:Not a DE this time.
You sure have been doing a lot of roadwork here lately.

There are a lot of gobble holes in that vertical em pin
Thought I’d jump into the party! Just picked it up from a buddy. But getting ready to move, so not sure if it can stay.
Pretty nice & clean example though. Just have to depuke the BG.

my favorite Bally, how is the playfield?
Quoted from gdonovan:No guesses? I even left two clues!
Did you grab that Funhouse in Wayne?

Pretty good actually. Better than the other ones I’ve had. A few small touchups, but done pretty well.
Quoted from gdonovan:Almost there

Congrats...you bastard!

Quoted from TractorDoc:I have enough projects. . . but I could not resist picking up another Classic Stern today.

I was just watching videos of flight this week. Had to show some fellow workers how cool the start of multi is on that one. For early 80s they were quite inventive on it
Nice pick up!
It took quite a few attempts to get my first machine, but I've finally joined the club!
Many thanks to sagejr for sharing his knowledge and information in person and to all of you who have made Pinside such a great resource for newbies looking to get in the game.

Congrats! Welcome to the hobby. Russ is a good guy, very helpful and always sells reasonably priced games.
Quoted from Coindork:Nice!!!
Funniest moment of our road trip? Grabbing a coffee at a farmers market and the guy serving us asked what we were doing in New Jersey, picking up a pin for restoration was my reply.
He stated; You work on pinball machines? You guys are freaks!
I'm going to get that printed on t-shirts, lol.

Ha, let me know when you get them printed.
I’ll buy an XL.
Quoted from bluespin:I picked up this Bally Magic Circle today. Only 580 made. Legs and coin door are rusty, but the playfield is almost perfect, backglass is perfect and I see very little rust inside the game. This pin will probably be available for trade/sale at Pinfest in June.

Very nice! I might be interested if you decide to trade/sell
Quoted from Dee-Bow:[quoted image][quoted image]
Nice pickup. Is that your new pin pickup vechicle?
this pick up location was a scene right out of Deliverance .. two hour drive to the middle of nowhere.. then found a few farm houses on a property and one of them was an old cafe.. only pin for sale was robocop. Grabbed it and a few cocktail tables for a friend. They asked if i wanted Central Park.. for free! How could i say no!

Im still waiting to get my first free pin.
WTH? Apparently I now bring home games while I’m doing yardwork.
My buddy just stopped by and dropped this off in my driveway. He sold it to a guy a few years back, and got a call that it would light up but stopped booting. When he got there, the guy asked if he would just buy it back.
He drove it here, thinking I would want it. I’m at capacity, so I’d be happy to pass it on for the $700 I gave him for it if anybody wants it. It’s still sitting in the garage for easy pick up...today.
Might be the MPU dropping below 5V. If somebody in this thread wants it quickly, I’ll even do $650 if it’s a game somebody was looking for.
I haven’t set it up, but looks like a pretty nice example. BG does have some touchups. PF is pretty nice. He shopped it before he sold it, did a good amount of work. New beehive, new drop targets, new pop caps, plastics are all in great shape. Rebuilt the flips and pops.
And it has an original Stingray key fob.
