I'm not doing it, I start too many topics anyway, but I think it would be funny if we had a:

What machine did you sell today?

(have pics of the buyer leaving with it, and post what about the game you were just tired of, or whatever).

I bought my first system 11 game this week. Here’s Big Guns in my lineup.

Tried it:

It did not gain quite the traction that this thread did.

Somehow I missed it. Maybe we need a resurrection.

An early Sunday morning pick up for a FREE game only two hours from home. I did give the owner a Benjamin. The owner started a restoration that was never completed. I already have a Rocket III and was hoping for a very nice original back glass with the correct blue background but this one is toast. The playfield is better than my current one so this one will probably end up being a parts machine.

The cabinet may not have any original paint but it still has the correct white flipper buttons. Yeah Colson, I’m talking about you.

Congrats on the second one.

No, it's actually pretty nice.

Brought it home yesterday. 6 hours on the road. It had been sitting in a garage for more than 12 years, untouched. Collected a shitload of dust and dirt. How does all that dirt get under the glass, onto the playfield, and into the closed cabinet?

Game almost boots. Needs some work. Backglass is perfect! Looks like mylar was installed over a dirty playfield. A few small spots of missing paint. Should clean up nicely.

Nice! Just tuned and shopped mine, new clear/green posts and lane guides, and polished it up. Cool game. Created a custom kit on Titan’s site if you’re interested.

I can’t fathom how anyone could neglect such a cool pin.

#16120 3 years ago
Quoted from JethroP:

The cab is not airtight. Air comes in around the coin door. There are air vents in the back box. On some Bally's there is the air vent on the neck. If the pin is sitting in a dusty garage with no protection, it is going to get dusty inside.

Terrible photos, but I came home with these 4 over the last two days! There’s not much room on the garage to move stuff around now.

Plan on keeping the Batman, and selling off the other three just because I’ve owned or played the others ones quite a bit. I think they are going to clean up pretty nice!

Traded my World of Nintendo sign for a T2. It hurt a bit to do it, and T2 wasn't exactly atop my want list, but value vs value there just wasn't any way I could turn it down. I'm not looking forward to dragging this heavy B downstairs...

I understand the value of Nintendo stuff, but I think you made the right move.

#16125 3 years ago

From a pure value standpoint it's usually a $1200-1400 sign. Covid craziness has made all sorts of things go sky high though. That said, I paid $100 for it.

There are plenty of tables I'd have preferred over T2 for the trade but it'll be enjoyable enough I think. At least for now.

Not too bad. All original. Perfect backglass, pretty decent cab. Pf shows its age and has some touch ups while the inserts are nice and flat and not cupped.

Those look great. Love seeing the same titles side by side. Always reminds me of when as a kid the arcade would get a bunch of whatever the newest and hottest machine was and line them up for us to play.

Back from when I bought two basket case Mata Hari's at two different garage sales intending to use parts from both to make one work. Wound up getting both to work....kept one (on the left after new backglass and hardtop installation), sold the other!

Brought this home last night.
Very nice condition but in need a good cleaning and full shop job.

Started going through it last night with Nethawk86 and fixed all the errors (27 in all).
Mostly bulbs out, a couple stuck switches and one completely dead switch that we replaced. Couple loose wires etc. Game is working 100% now as it should and not throwing any errors.

Need to order a few things and then the cleaning begins.

I have to swap playfields first. I am keeping my original with mylar and selling the one with overlay and clearcoat. The one I am selling probably looks nicer but I prefer the original. The automotive paint with clear on the cabinet looks spectacular.
