Finally got a chance to own a White Water. Players condition but might eventually be a prime candidate for a HEP restoration. Anyway, going to log some flipper time first!!!

Quoted from Colsond3:

Space Time is awesome. Love the tunnel effect on that game. Looks like yours is in really good shape.
I picked one up for a fellow Pinsider locally two years ago and brought it up to Pintastic for him. I joked with him that I was seriously debating on just keeping the game myself.

It is in good shape, 2 small wear spots between the pops and saucers, some rust on the legs, and a few scrapes and bumps on the cab, but really nice over all.

I was racing against the weather on Friday to bring home another Classic Stern.

On the way home there was LIGHTNING outside and inside the Jeep!

#16056 3 years ago

Before I could even get Lightning unloaded and setup I received a message from a local gentleman wanting to sell a pin he had for the last 50 years. I borrowed the Mrs.'s ride and made the 10 minute drive to the house he was selling/wanting to clean out. . . and came home with this.

5J5A4286 (resized).JPG5J5A4286 (resized).JPG

First time I've ever had two pins in two different vehicles! Of course I had to unload Aloha as the wife would not be thrilled about driving to work with it in her car tomorrow.

KIMG0547 (resized).JPGKIMG0547 (resized).JPG

This game has some interesting local history. Apparently it was originally in the general store of the small town I have my veterinary clinic in. The store is still open -- I plan to stop in and see if they'd have any interest in having the game back (if I can get it working). It has probably been in a 20 mile radius its entire life!

Did I mention the seller was selling his house and wanting to clean out? Against my better judgement I went back and came home with this.

KIMG0548 (resized).JPGKIMG0548 (resized).JPG

KIMG0549 (resized).JPGKIMG0549 (resized).JPG

Seller claims it was still working when he unplugged it several years ago -- hoping I can get it going and use it for a soda/beer machine in the garage!

Not a pin, but the wife likes skee ball. Its in pretty good shape over all. I need to get a ticket dispenser, and coin mechs for it. Cant have a redemption skee ball with no tickets.. The volume knob needs replaced its either loud or no sound.
[quoted image][quoted image]

Dang. Looks like a good spot for a ball bowler to me. I don't see how a skee ball has any repeat playability....

Well it’s been a while since I’ve been able to post in this thread. Picked up two games today (first time getting two games in this vehicle). Not too far from my house and couldn’t beat the price. Picked up a delta queen and an Olympic hockey. Oddly enough the owner had one key for each game. For one game he had the coin door key but not the key to the back. The other game was just the opposite. Had to drill the other locks. The back on one of the games had a barrel lock - that was a pain to drill but I eventually got it. All in all, it was a good day.

This beautiful machine got delivered Friday! The first, but definitely not the last. Have a Jurassic Park Premium ordered and coming in the next couple of months, and that new TMNT is probably going to have to take up a third slot!

Have already put up over 200 plays on this guy since setting it up on Friday afternoon. Woo, does my body feel it!

I’ve tried to buy this before but deal fell over. Beautiful HUO game and pimped with quite a few mods. Best of all I don’t think I’ve ever seen my wife so excited about a new game. So much so she says if I ever try to sell it she will buy it off me and that was after 1 game. Think she’s a keeper....the game too!

Well.....not a machine....but I did save it from the dumpster.

Story behind it is that about 5-6 years ago it was in a bar that caught on fire. The roof collapsed and crushed the machine. This is all that was left. Boards were saved by the operator for spares.

Still a good amount of parts to salvage off this.

Someone gutted the insides so I got a neat piece of art. It's too bad as well, the playfield looks great and looks like a neat game.

I will do. I plan to document it very well. It is only new once. And yea! I too was really taken aback by the wood! I never knew they were not Golden Oak colored originally! This one has never been in the sun, smoked around, touched with dirty hands, or had drinks spilled on it!
