No way, a free Evel Knievel?? NICE!!!
Quoted from nvu4prod:Really nice ES example! Looks like a custom topper too. Curious to know what looks like a sign between the two red cones!
Cones are lit up. I like it.

I like your 500 mile stare. Loaded up on coffee
Drove up to Northern Arizona this morning with @ajnada to pick up an Orbitor 1 that had been home use since the mid 80s. Guy claims they bough it in 84 and owned it since then and the game looks the part. Very clean and beautiful example. Only issue was some battery leakage, but didn’t look too bad. About 9 hours round trip.
Leaving it in the garage all wrapped up for the night. I’ll post picks tomorrow after I unwrap it.

Really looking forward to some detailed pictures and video of this one. I got to play this rare find at a show about 6 years ago. Very unique and exciting game!
Just did a four hour around trip to pick up my first free pinball machine. Can't go wrong at that price! The seller/giver-a-way said I saved it for going to the dump.
The main issue is a cracked/broken back glass that the movers did. Anyone know if they make replacements and if so where to buy.
Let me know.....Thanks Mike

Thank you! I will get in touch with them.
Great catch on that Farfalla machine! The ferrari of pinball machines! Wish I had that kind of luck...wish I could find a Devil's Dare for under 1K.
Quoted from Ballypin:This is my first time to Iowa and I didn’t know that this was a thing. This would’ve been a much better picture if I included the nearby Lions Den billboard in the picture.[quoted image]
Hoping to get some of you for Secret Santa next year. I'll send you some merch to show off to all your friends.

E6000 adhesive will glue it back and be strong. I glued 2 zacarria backglasses for a friend and they had been been holding together for 3 years now.

You can also get them from Coos, who I think can recreate the mirroring that bgresto cannot: http://www.coos.net/bingo_e/backglasses.html

A friend has several Zacarria games, and I don't recall any of them have any mirrored backglasses.
Farfalla, Time Machine and Magic Castle have neon behind the backglass artwork, so mirroring would not be useful having in the artwork.
Devil Riders too. We’ve got 6 Zac titles between us. I just remembered some mirroring in the outer glass on Farfalla, specifically around the player numbers. Again, I could be wrong. Mikespinball should be able to tell if I’m just suffering from some Mandela effect.
Edit: my brother checked, he also thought there was mirroring. We were both wrong. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hey, Bucko - I got a Funhouse! Definitely a grail game for me. Ended up doing a 13 hour round trip to pick it up. Turned out to be a nice road trip with my two boys. Best part is they are now old enough to drive so they did most of the driving. After getting it setup at home, my daughter took one look at Rudy and said nope and walked away. Best game ever!

Wow. A free Farfalla? Not just free, but a decent one with nice potential. Congrats!
How I wish it was another game sitting in the salvage yard, would’ve been the same price no matter the game! ... oh well $200 AUD doesn’t get you much in Australia.
The playfield and under the play field seemed in great condition...
Getting it delivered tomorrow so will have a better idea of what I’m dealing with then !

Great find, wish I could pick up machines from a salvage yard. Hopefully you are going to try and save it. Congrats on the pick up.
A little touch up and that backglass will look great!
Cool pick up, plus you get the bonus of anticipating a package!
Looking forward to seeing what kind of shape this thing is in. I hope it is a diamond in the rough for you!
Not a pin but couldnt pass it up even if it was a 14.5 hr round trip yesterday. 1958 United Playtime with a shitload of extra parts and 15 upper backglasses and 25 lower backglasses for other ball bowler machines plus an extra 6ft section of lane. Of course we had to recharge our batteries with some Skyline chili and grab some for later as well

Damn I wish I knew you wee in Ohio and picking up those marques and BG I would have bought a couple just for wall hangers and used the Skyline to seal the deal!

Thanks when you get time , no hurry.
So because i'm getting pounded with pm's asking for specific backglasses i'm just posting what I have. Wow nice job! Any story behind that? Assuming big package deal?
Quoted from delt31:Wow nice job! Any story behind that? Assuming big package deal?
Was looking strictly for a lane extension to extend out my 13ft ball bowler. Saw this deal pop up and it had way more stuff than I wanted but yeah it all came as a pkg deal. Didn't really wanna drive 400 miles 1 way but you guys all know the dumb shit we do in this hobby. Still have to go through the box of parts also to see what all is in it.
Quoted from delt31:Wow nice job! Any story behind that? Assuming big package deal?
Yes, package deal. A old friend planing on moving out of state and haven't touched them in years, at least 15 or so. I also got some other stuff not pictured and a ton of parts. The CFTBL and FT were mine 20+ years ago. So Im glad to get them back (those 2 are keepers for now). The FT was a expo game and shows what year it was in the attract mode on the DMD, 93 I think? Now I just have to find the time to go through them. I already have interest in the TAF, TMNT and WH20. It will take some time before I get them ready.
