Quoted from Boof-Ed:What’s the funhouse playfield like. I’m interested if you’re going to sell this one.
Playfield is not too bad all things considered.

I bought my first pin, Star Wars Comic Art (premium) in March, as my last big splurge before getting married in June. My fiance (best EVER) said ok to a 2nd one, and I picked up The Hobbit on Thursday. Ive been keeping an eye out for it or a LOTR table, and it popped up on my craigslist. I picked it up right during the end of our state's stay at home orders or else I would have missed it. I didnt even play it first, I just made sure it turned on and kept safe distance with the seller.
OMG I love this pin, its SO different then Star Wars. And then going back to Star Wars, it feels so much faster! A great combo for my first 2 pins.

Drove to Kansas City to get this baby! Kiss is an amazing looking game. Added plastic protectors, mirror blades, color rubbers and here is HOPING they do a COLOR DMD!

Nice car!!
Quoted from Green-Machine:Nice car!!
It's Gilligan's Island.........no phone, no lights, no motor cars....not a single luxury.

The Chevy Camaro is owned by the seller and it's for sale!

Always a good excuse to come back to Oregon again....love Oregon. Last time I was there I was mountain biking down Mt Hood
I like the Gillian’s Island too
Quoted from jaytrem:Nice flipperless pickup!
Haha. The person had started a restoration, and gave up. All the parts in boxes, and a good amount of new parts as well. Projects are good at a time like this.
Quoted from poppapin:Damn, never a lull with Colson!!
I blame @bluespin. He posted a month or so ago that I was slacking. So...

Colson is the new Tiger King.

But why did he remove the wood rails?

If anyone can survive the corona virus during a Pin pickup its Colson and his prodigy.
Quoted from RonSS:Not to derail the "What did Colson bring home today" thread, but I got a special delivery yesterday.
Still putting her together.

Quoted from RonSS:You do realize this will probably put me on your caller id again?
Maybe, but then again, you are now experienced..
Quoted from bluespin:But why did he remove the wood rails?
They are there...but metal. No inner wood rail on the shooter lane on this game. Weird.

Looks nice and in great condition. Like the backglass. Is that all original or were parts of it restored?

Got my Ripley's off Craigslist after it had been up for four or five days. Just needed to cash in some of my stimulus and unemployment money.
The owner was a super nice guy that said he was selling that and a Wheel of Fortune because he wanted to get rid of the turds and only keep good games.
That sales pitch sealed the deal and he dropped it in my driveway an hour later. When he saw my pristine High Roller Casino I was putting it next to, he said "you're o-din aren't you?" Of course I blushed and hesitantly admitted it.
A follow up on that is once I removed the almost 200 led bulbs so it was playable, I looked at the high scores and saw the name ROB on there. I had sold my old Ripley's to RobT and it had come back, but with the way I set up games, I don't remember if I ever topped his scores or not.
For a moment I thought it might be my old game with the tilt bob now stapled in a bag instead of sealed like it was when I first got it, but then it occurred to me my old one did not have the factory Stern stickers on the playfield glass like this one does. Definitely HOU and another low play example that I thought I would not find again.

I like how games come back around.!

The new normal is now they cost more than they did the first time. That must be what happens when the government gives out free money.
Quoted from jdoz2:Picked this one up today! Needs some love but it’s cleaning up well.

Hey... thank you. Now I understand why people like "wedge heads"
I went on a short road trip......ran into rain! A friend of mine introduced me to what a "real" pinball machine was with WW so I jumped at the chance to get one. Traded my South Park for it. I am looking forward to shopping it and getting it dialed in!
