Just got my first pin. She's a beauty. Been spending a lot of my time at the hospital with the pandemic and this has been a very welcome distraction. Big shout out to ZMeny from Flip N Out Pinball for the quick hook up and awesome service.[quoted image]

enjoy, great pin. go vote for it in the top 4 best of all time. LOTR is somehow beating it by a few votes

Zack also hooked me up with a JP that arrived today. Wow what a game . It truly was a great buying experiance . On top of the pin Zack is sending me a stair climbing Escalera dolly, big wheel kit included. It arrives from California Tuesday. The guys at work will be so happy no more lifting water heaters and boilers up and down stairs.

What is the cost of the Escalera? 3k?

Today's haul.
I am really thinking of converting this Stars to a Seawitch.
Any thoughts? I already have a seawitch pf and backglass.

Escalera is expensive but I have no regrets getting it. Hauling pins out of the truck and bringing down in the basement by myself is awesome. I have the powered forklift attachment. My kids are gone and my back is screwed so it was necessary to find a way to be able to do this alone.

I got the pinball plate, the regular large plate, the larger toe plate, and the big wheel attachment.

I’m in Canada so the price I paid isn’t really relevant. It’s much more than you lol.

Figured I’d buy another project, from my favorite manufacturer. I bought it at a fair price, but probably should have waited for pin prices to go into a Freefall....

The seller disclosed a few hacks on the game, and it needs a few fixes, but it plays a game. It’ll need a new backglass but it’s a title I’ve only played a few games on so I’m looking forward to fixing it up.

Well....technically I brought it home 5 years ago....but it’s been wrapped up in the garage since then. Today....I brought him in to finally get started on the clean up and repair.

Was one of my grail pins, and got it for a great price as well. Plus it’s in pretty damn good shape considering.

Posted this in the Paragon owners thread, but figured I would post it here as well.

A local collector picked up this Paragon a year or so ago out here and I had expressed interest in buying it a couple times.
He hit me up this morning asking if I was still interested and dropped it off this afternoon.
Pretty nice looking machine all in all. Has the wrong apron on it (which I will be replacing). Also has the wrong drop targets.
Other than that it’s a really nice machine.

Went on Marco a few minutes ago and already ordered new drop targets for it as well as new pop bumper caps as two of the are a bit burnt and discolored.

Pretty happy with this one.

Thanks, the backglass is super nice. Theres a little flaking on the front side down under the score windows. And looks like it might start peeling soon around the hanging guy. Ive been practicing on sealing backglass on old arcade glass bezels. So ill probably do this one soon. But not sure how to save/protect the front. Any suggestions from anyone is apprciated.

As for the 5 years, to be honest i just didnt have the space to bring it in. Our spare room was a disaster from our daughter storing all her stuff in it. And with all this spare time lately i finally had a chance to get it cleaned out and set my games back up. Plus when I purchased the POTO, i kinda took a hiatus from the hobby. Money and time just wasnt an option to keep it going. Now im ready to slowly get back into it.

Yes, it was one that I always wanted but never thought id find a good one for a good price. Wife and I have been huge Phantom fans since we met 25 years ago. So the pinball was a given. One day at work the opportunity showed up and i jumped on it without even questioning. As for the reason it took so long.... see answer above

First pin! Wonderful shape, good deal, great seller.

Some things I've learned since buying:
1) Good grief these things are heavy!
2) Lots of fun to play at home - can hear and see what's happening so much better.
3) Must have jiggled something loose. DMD flickering. Time to start learning how this works.

Excellent pick up bluespin , and should clean up really well. Good luck with the project. I'm still hoping to get my Freefall finished one day.

Congrats! Check all the connections in the backbox. Had the same issue with WCS94. I just unplugged and replugged in the connectors for the DMD and that solved it.

I failed to mention that once before in a repair thread, and other issues popped up for that OP to fix. Now, I'm trying to make it a habit of added that in with my "reseat ribbon cables/connectors" statement.
