ForceFlow posted this in the Project Pin thread and I thought you should know about it:
Quoted from ForceFlow:Heads up--we received a message today from a member who went to buy two NIB pins in Albany, NY and the buyer said he was robbed at gunpoint by the seller. That's all the info we have at the moment.
Obviously, this was a shock to hear. As things get worse, people may be getting more desperate and/or bold. Be careful out there.
I posted this on the Project Pin thread, but it is relevant to this thread too:
"Hello Project Pinsters!
With the tanking of the economy and so many of our friends and family not working, I expect to see an increased supply of Project Pins on the market. This almost always means lower prices, perhaps even prices that we haven't seen in a couple of years.
With this in mind, many of us will be tempted to go out and buy these bargains. I know I will. However, I ask you to please remember that you are increasing your risk of catching the CoVid-19 coronavirus if you do so.
We are all adults here, at least by age, and far be it from me to tell you what to do. However, as the OP, I feel it would be irresponsible for me to not mention the additional risks you would be taking by meeting strangers at a time when the virus is just beginning to explode in the United States.
I have done a lot of research on the CoVid-19 outbreak and know more about it than the average bear. If you can find the time, you might want to read this post I made about some basic facts, disinfection, what to expect, a way to lessen the chance of getting the virus and when we can expect the outbreak to end.
Best wishes landing that special Project Pin you have been looking for at a price you can afford. But, please, stay safe out there!"
Before heading out for a pin it would be a good idea to read the post, linked above. Know your enemy.

Some are immune. I think all the years Ozzy Osborne ate bats he’s probably good to go!

We can’t assume we know the setup they had to buy. Maybe zero interaction, etc.
Quoted from northerndude:We can’t assume we know the setup they had to buy. Maybe zero interaction, etc.
Correct. Perhaps every game was Lysoled, and then UV lit.
Maybe each person has been in complete isolation for 2 weeks prior.

IF you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME
a truck with 8 games in it.... NOT ESSENTIAL
a rental = more contact with people
How many stops to collect all 8 games ??? ALL were porch pickups right.
How mane fuel stops along the way ??? contact with pump handles, keypads on credit card machines,...
To stop the spread of this highly contagious virus we all have to STAY THE F AT HOME.
for those who believe they are immune, I will let them spend 2 weeks on a Chinese ventilator.
Let me tell you something!
I live on a ranch that couldn't be anymore isolated.we are prepared for anything. I was the only person allowed in the large building , I was never in contact with anyone !!! So take your additude elsewhere

He just called himself an ASS LOL
Quoted from gdonovan:Tired of this virus being beaten to death in every subject, give it a rest.
Go catch it. Maybe you won't have to listen to anyone worry about that 'fake flu' anymore. If you aren't part of the solution, you're the problem. It's reality. Sorry all those deaths are getting in the way of your good time.

Actually I'm in a high risk group, so not an academic exercise.
Take it to one of the other threads, there is other things going on in the world besides this virus. And they have appropriate areas for the discussion .
There are threads on pinside for those who enjoy consuming themselves with the virus. It’s nice to come here and not hear about it.

Yeah I’m watching judge Judy right now.

With that said I’d like to hear more about the games. What did you get, plans, etc. Tell us more.
Folks, please direct all conronavirus discussions here:

Further discussions here will result in thread ejects.
[edit]: It shouldn't need to be said, but at this point, most states are recommending that everyone stay at home and avoid non-essential travel.

They're projects, I'm going to fix them, not ready to discuss to be honest

The flash is such a fun game, you won’t regret it. If you are interested, I have been posting my resto of one at https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/it-was-supposed-to-be-a-simple-flash-restore
Quoted from mark532011:Congrats! I have never played one, looks fun!
Thanks. It's become one of my favorite pins over time.

I think it is one of the best pins of all times.
Quoted from Bundy:I think it is one of the best pins of all times.
Agreed. The only way mine is leaving my collection is to upgrade to a Premium. Amazing balance of tough and easy shots, and makes fantastic use of all four flippers.
