No room........sure? Maybe hiding one from the Mrs

Haha, well it's kinda a longish story why theres limited room but sadly it's true... the intention was to put AFMLE & MBRLE next to each other to battle it out for supremacy... loser gets sold off. Hopefully they can meet in a week or so.

Quoted from Zablon:

It's one of those games that the theme didn't interest me at all, but the gameplay is great and makes for a great game.

Yeah, I think part of the reason it is such a great value pin is because soccer isn't big in the US.

It used to be a great value game but there are 2 for sale for $4k plus right now which is crazy. Dont get me wrong, super fun family friendly pin but I am way out at anywhere near $4k. Might pay close to $3k for a crazy nice one but a player is floating Round $2k.

Brought Indy back for a second spin after selling mine last year. This one is mostly for guests and family, they seem to love the theme.

Saw this pop up a few days ago. jumped off couch . looked in workshop next to game room and came to quick conclusion I can fit this bad boy in here with a little rearranging.
Made the deal and brought her home yesterday. Wife even went along for the 5 HR road trip but of course after asking "Where's it going?".
Met a great pinsider RhettDR and it was a good day.

Super nice D&D joins the line up. Little to no fade, topper and great looking playfield. Shopping it out now and adding leds to get it ready for the lineup. You don’t see them in this condition with the topper very often.

I purchased and had shipped a really nice The Shadow! I love this game but none were around locally...well there is one but he’s a buddy of mine and it definitely wasn’t for sale. When this one came available I had to sacrifice a few really great pins to fund the purchase but I feel it was worth it! So much fun!
Any thoughts on where it should go in my lineup? I put it next to TAF because it was the easiest spot but what do you guys think? I’ve got another open space next to Johnny Mnemonic and Earthshaker. Should I rearrange and put it next to some similar WPC Games?
Thanks for the input,
Eric

You may have seen my post about WONKA or IJ. Well, why not both. IJ became a reality 2 weeks ago.

Finally made this one mine yesterday. Had a little accident in the move, but superglue seems to have fixed it for now! Beautiful, but just added some spotlights to brighten it up a bit! Can’t wait to dig into the rules.

Been looking for a Firepower, Blackout or Firepower II for early Williams SS representation and today Blackout won.

Very nice playfield, new PinScore displays, rebuilt sound board, so-so backglass and one lamp out, the blackout insert ironically. Just a diode!

LOTR. In the same home since new. The original (corroded) batteries were still in it. The playfield glass had never been removed.
The goody bag still in the cabinet.

It always amuses me when I read someone say a 1/2 hr is to far to drive for pin. 8 hrs in the the rain and snow, this baby is now in the shop. Traded another EM(which I know nothing about, except for a quick 5 minute tutorial given by the previous owner of the game I gave up). I hear the Captain isn't much of a player, the theme is meh, but it is the first pin I remember playing for an extended time in the mid to late '70s at Jay Peak ski area in northern Vermont when a bunch of us were kids. It sat right next to the Pong machine.

image (resized).jpegimage (resized).jpegimage (resized).jpegimage (resized).jpeg
#14925 4 years ago

I’m not a picky person, but I’ll agree, the Captain ain’t the best player in town, BUT it’s still a fun game to play with others. Art is top notch, and who doesn’t love Elton?! It’s always nice to see in a collection.

These followed me home the other day because I couldn't turn down the price. Hadn't planned on keeping either but neither worked properly when I showed up so now I need to put in some time and effort fixing the monitors (vertical/horizontal collapse).. And dad wants the asteroids. Both are early serial numbers/HUO w/ documentation. The Asteroids has owl face coin door which is interesting.

I certainly needed more projects.. lol

Picked these three up in one scoop last night! Amazing deal and couldn’t be happier to have some real pinball back in the house! Have a virtual, but nowhere near the same. Also bought this nickel candy bar dispenser. And the seller threw in an *according to him* original porcelain Pepsi sign for free as well. Couldn’t be happier! If anyone knows anything about the candy machine or Pepsi sign, I’d love to hear it!

Nice looking porcelain Pepsi sign you got there! Rare to find them under $500 these days

#14936 4 years ago

Thanks guys! I really loved the candy machine and figure I’ll fill it up before parties and put a stack on nickels next to it for the kids. I paid $350 for it and felt really good about it.

I was guessing around $500 for the Pepsi sign as well, so that’s awesome news and an incredible freebie!

I just picked up a Williams Time Fantasy locally, about 8 miles from my home. A couple had it for 20+ years in their basement. It works, needs a skip job and some minor repair work.
