What an awesome game! Been having my wife kick my butt daily for letting it go. Enjoy!
Quoted from Herk:I got a nice lot of stuff from a local warehouse. I was pretty excited about the dk jr. but then I was really excited when I found this behind some machines![quoted image][quoted image]
Well call me jealous. That probably paid for your entire purchase, and then some!
Chris
I picked myself up a nice little project today.

Just make sure you have room for more.

So I've heard...the wife is pretty adamant that we have one, and only one. So far I'm in love with the JP and also can't WAIT to mess around and tinker with it. It's been in a family basement for 20years, so there's alot I get to do to make it mine.
Assuming getting a machine and IMMEDIATELY wanting to mess with it is normal? Maybe I'm a little crazy...
Quoted from ZAuxier:we have one, and only one.
I wonder what the average length of time here on Pinside is before someone caved and got another one after their first. I didn’t even plan on having one and now I have six, a multicade and an EM rifle.
Quoted from ZAuxier:So I've heard...the wife is pretty adamant that we have one, and only one.
She'll crack.
Quoted from Murphdom:I wonder what the average length of time here on Pinside is before someone caved and got another one after their first. I didn’t even plan on having one and now I have six, a multicade and an EM rifle.
Data point: exactly one year for this house
Quoted from Murphdom:I wonder what the average length of time here on Pinside is before someone caved and got another one after their first. I didn’t even plan on having one and now I have six, a multicade and an EM rifle.
I just bought number 5 this past weekend. Zero to Five in 1 year and a month! I definitely have a problem

Congrats, but the words "project" and "STTNG" in the same sentence gives me nightmares.
Quoted from ZAuxier:So I've heard...the wife is pretty adamant that we have one, and only one.
The trick is to get her to want another one without her realizing that was the plan all along.
Quoted from Murphdom:I wonder what the average length of time here on Pinside is before someone caved and got another one after their first. I didn’t even plan on having one and now I have six, a multicade and an EM rifle.
Excellent question. Start a thread with a
poll, ...or has there already been one?

Problem?
What problem?
The only problem I see is where you're going to put #6!
Quoted from ZAuxier:Assuming getting a machine and IMMEDIATELY wanting to mess with it is normal? Maybe I'm a little crazy...
Crazy is normal here.
Quoted from ZAuxier:So I've heard...the wife is pretty adamant that we have one, and only one.
My goal initially was to own one. I’ve posted in this thread “a few times”, so that hasn’t worked out.

I planned on buying one for our new basement rec room remodel 2 years ago. That lasted about 2 months before I got a second one. 2 months after that I got a third. 2 years later, I have 6. At least I have no more space now so six is the max.
Quoted from Mathazar:At least I have no more space now
There always more space, because they would look great in the dining room and kitchen.
Quoted from bssbllr:There always more space, because they would look great in the dining room and kitchen.
A Diner would work in either space.

That is indeed a problem

I lived and breathed TF in ‘84-‘88 or so. This was a huge nostalgia buy for me. Lucky I find it fun and that hasn’t worn off yet.
Quoted from Green-Machine:I just bought number 5 this past weekend. Zero to Five in 1 year and a month! I definitely have a problem
I don't see a problem... other than having ONLY 5. LOL

It was about 3 weeks for me. I never planned on having one, either. I used to be in a KISS tribute band, and my sister called me one day when she saw a KISS game in the Trading Times (you old timers will remember that - pre-Internet days). I ended up with the game, and the guy had told me it was a collectors item, I really shouldnt play it a lot. Well my daughter was about 7 at the time, and her and her friends well all over that thing. So I called the guy a few weeks later and told him I needed a decoy and got a Space Invaders from him.
25 games later..........
Quoted from TinyBlackDog:Wow - a $20k weekend! Congrats!
I have done that before, fun times
I have also sold everything i had in 1 week and put about $100k in my pocket. Also, fun times.

Especially when you have them that far apart! You could park a car between those things.

Exterminate! Exterminate!!!
This followed me home tonight... I physically have no room for it at the moment, so have dropped it off at a mates. He's pretty bloody excited, never had a pinball and only showed interest in the last 12-24 months. I suspect he'll be 110% hooked soon enough.

Totally undervalued, one of the best shooters there is.

It's one of those games that the theme didn't interest me at all, but the gameplay is great and makes for a great game.

No room........sure? Maybe hiding one from the Mrs
Going through the settings you might want to have a set number decimal places for the next update. Same for font on difficulty setting but that you can still make out for the most part
