Quoted from RWH:Hey when you get that GORF going could you post a vid? I don't think I ever played that game.
Oh, man. A classic. One of the only video games I used to play fairly regularly. "Bite the dust....space cadet!"

I don't remember it but may come back if they post a vid. Those were some good times through the 80's for video games.

GORF kicked my ass back in the day.

"Hahahaha"
Quoted from Colsond3:You’re out of control Max! Congrats.
Thanks Colson! Definitely getting back into the swing of things after my horrendous summer. It feels good! These are going to be my winter projects.
Lasted on the market one hour before we agreed to a trade. In amazing shape. A fun, quirky J-Pop game! Great sticker on the back with a ‘documented’ restoration. Looks and plays like brand new!

I probably played between 12-15 games.

Wow. That's great, congrats.

Just like the doublemint twins.

Welcome from Frisco! Let me know if you need help breaking them in

Haha. Will do!
Quoted from RWH:I know a lot of pinsiders said Wonka felt cheap but I did not think so, nor did the flippers feel weak. I played over 20 games on it at Pincinnati and it was a hell of a lot of fun!
Its almost to the point I don't believe anything I read anymore I go off my own experience. I played Willy Wonka standard and the new Elvira House of Horrors standard for about 3 hours one night just bouncing between the two. The Jersey Jack machine felt so much more better quality. However I love me some Stern too both tables are fun but I could see and felt the quality more so in the Jersey Jack. I wouldn't second guess buying that machine and not having buyers remorse. HOWEVER no one take my opinion that's the point i'm making ---- for all reading go play both and see for yourself.

How does the carryover feature work with scoring from player to player with only one set of reels?
Quoted from Murphdom:How does the carryover feature work with scoring from player to player with only one set of reels?
I think the reels are computer controlled steppers.

Mr Biscuits, tear down that wall!
Never seen let alone played one but I like it! From what I can see there's a lot of variety to shoot at on the PF.
Quoted from RWH:Looks like Santa was good to you!
Agreed!

Beautiful cabinet, playfield 9/10, great seller and smooth transaction.
Only negative was the 300 mile trip one-way to pick it up![quoted image]
Congratulations! Fun Lawlor game.
Back in 2001, I drove nine hours to get a real nice CV. Got to the guy’s house and he had a like-new Scared Stiff (for $2,900!). I took the SS instead of the CV and drove nine hours home knowing my wife would be displeased.
Turned out SS was her favorite game ever. She still misses it (sold it in 2006).

You know you've got a great one when your wife surprises you with this out of the blue as an early xmas gift!
Been on a bit of a tear lately, before Shadow I picked up these four in the last few weeks.
Yeah, it was nice having money in the bank, but, um... pinball!
I should cross post to the horror thread but picked up these filthy beasts today from a dilapidated house. I just went to pick up the Hot Hand and before I left the lady told me “there’s a second game you can have free!” (after I had already negotiated way down from her $300 asking price on the Hot Hand). I didn’t even ask what and internally screamed when I saw it was another classic Stern! The playfields, backglasses, and electronics are shot/ripped up but the cabinets are surprisingly stronger than almost any other 70s/80s game I’ve ever picked up.
These will serve me well in my quest to scratch build a Quicksilver!
