Quoted from Murphdom:

I reached my “limit” today by filling a room according to my wife who pretends she cares even though the multicade ended up in another room There’s always room for more. Realistically I just need to swap everything over to the bigger room and the. She will pretend to be mad when I bring another one home.

Ha! Thankfully my wife loves pinball so I don't get *too* much push back, but yeah, there's always room for more. A basement that once was "two and that's it," now has 10 and I've mapped out space for 26! 33 if I finish the outer storage room. It's a sickness.

What multicade do you have, home built or what brand if purchased? I used to have one 20 years ago, was thinking of buying or building another.

Drove to Reno (400+ miles round trip)
And picked up a super clean Winner,
Love anything old with animation

Hard to pass up for $400 considering I just bought a couple more color Dmd’s for a $1000 !

My 5th game in as many weeks....
My bride offered to buy this one for me for Christmas...
Play counter reads 23,499 it is very clean inside,
Playfield needs to be shopped, and fix the scoring issues.

I gutted an old Stern “1942” cabinet. I kept with the theme and repainted the wood cabinet and added webbing and some decals that were never there. It’s Raspberry Pi based and has thousands of games. I actually haven’t even programmed the joysticks yet because I’ve been sidetracked lately with lots of things. But that was my plan for today. No more excuses.

Quoted from bballfan:

The same guy has another really rare game for sale as well
Goin Nuts, 1983 Gottlieb: 44000
Working condition, playfield in need of restoration, cabinet in good condition, head in good condition. Prototype rare Gottlieb game, less than 10 avail. For serious collectors of rare pinball machines and arcades in need of an ultra rare attraction.

Such a cool game. Not a bad time to buy, efforts are underway currently to finish the code and create replacement parts finally. One of only 9 left, the 10th was parted to keep the other 9 going.
Wish I could join the club but it’s not worth nearly that. The only pinball machines truly worth 45k would be:
Total Recall
Bigfoot
(AKA: They aren’t real)

Quoted from jrpinball:

Throw 20k at him, and see what he says.

Probably won’t take it, I tried before. The guys who have one simply aren’t selling unless it’s a silly number. The last guy I talked to said he turned down 45k, perhaps now someone wants to cash in?

Seems like a great opportunity to make a similar game. Call it "Going Ape Shit", and use a mech like Frankenstein

Quoted from HHaase:

May not be pins but today was a good day. The Sonar I grabbed at request of a fellow pinsider, and while I was making the run I snagged two more. Not sure yet which one I’ll keep and which I’ll sell.[quoted image]

Keep the Stunt Pilot. That’s games beautiful and really cool to play.
Some really neat features.

We got four pins scratched off our "Wish List" this weekend.
BSD, DW x2, CftBL and Congo.
Of the bunch, it will be the 1st time that a Congo has made it to our gameroom.
It was great to make new friends with cool pin-loving people.

My Gottlieb Drop-a-Card arrived. One of Bob Cunningham’s workers dropped it off. It was a Craigslist’s find a few months back. Some guy inherited it after his father who was an electrical engineer passed away. It is an excellent original example and is very clean and responsive. The backglass is a 9/10 with no fading or flaking, cabinet probably an 8/9 because of only one decent sized scratch, and the playfield is a 9 with no planking or wear other than one pencil sized dot of paint missing on the middle of the playfield. Pictures to follow. I got a little over zealous and stripped the playfield right away otherwise I would have posted some.

Just got this weird and cool Stern redemption game, Simpsons Kooky Carnival. The hardware is SAM which is nice... just coins instead of pinballs!

Love the Simpsons theming, great art like TSPP

I totally agree - here's my car and bike. The Harley is for sale, actually, to help offset the purchase of a NIB Black Knight SOR Premium (will be delivered next Friday!).

I've owned the Z06 Corvette since new but I'm actually thinking of selling it, too, to make room in the garage for a dedicated pinball restoration workshop area.

You know I've had 3 slots and they just never stay around. I had some play when They first came but everyone lost interest quickly and I just got rid of them.

#14145 4 years ago

To be honest, I've never really been all that interested in slots myself; as I said, this is for the wife, who loves them. If it keeps her happy ("Happy wife, happy life."), then perhaps she'll leave me alone when I'm working on my pins. Besides, it was a bargain that I couldn't pass up.

The other benefit of this particular slot is that if you get tired of the theme, you can always get the software for other games and load it in.

Give me your tired and poor Munsters pinball who yearn to be played and enjoyed the way they are supposed to be.Perceived as lowly underachievers and sold way under what they are worth. Many are huddled together in Gamerooms everywhere just wanting to
Breathe free and be played.Keep up the good work Raters so many of us can get great deals on many new machines before they get a chance to show there true colors.
