I've never seen that pin before, it looks to be in pretty decent shape. Have you played it? Like it?

I used to have a gusher and loved it. Super fun game. Should not have sold it.

Grabbed a Future Spa project today! Very unique looking pin with an interesting art package for sure!
The game was dead with only two flashes on the MPU. Changed up 5101 RAM from one of my donor boards and it booted right up with 7 flashes! There are still issues as none of the switches are registering and the flippers don’t work but at least the project looks like less work than I first anticipated.
Condition-wise it’s quite nice minus a knicked and faded cabinet with a vertical stile on the backbox that needs to be reattached. The fully Mylared playfield has held up real well!

Just an update on the police force topper that I was looking for. Thanks to SilentGas for the heads up that a police force topper was on Ebay. Turns out it was only for the dome but I sent a message to the person selling it and it turns out they had the lights and speaker (I had no idea there was a speaker in the topper too) so I was able to convince them to sell me the whole thing. Having never owned the game before I'm not sure how it connects but hopefully I'll be able to figure it out once the parts arrive.

It was a nice reminder that the pinball community, and especially pinside, can be great, as evidenced by SilentGas today. Thanks for paying attention to what I was looking for and for taking the time to make me aware of it. We're better together!

Brought home a really nice Maverick this weekend.
Needs a couple things fixed before she get thrown into the lineup, but all in all it’s a damn clean machine.

Quoted from DGMartin:

The World Series is named after a now defunct newspaper that was in New York called The World, since they were the ones that sponsored it.

I’ve always sorta wondered what’s up with that and now I know! See, pinball IS educational!

Well, not according to: https://www.rulesofsport.com/faq/why-is-the-world-series-called-the-world-series-if-only-american-teams-play.html

The real reason behind the name is thanks to Barney Dreyfuss who was the owner of the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1903, he wrote to the owner of the Boston Red Sox challenging them to a ‘World’s Championship Series’. The Pirates were the best team in the National League and the Red Sox were the best in the American League.

He's probably in a 5 ton truck, cruising the southern states picking up games till it's packed full. Has to get all his buying before the Christmas season.

Thanks DD , backglass nonexistent, it was smashed when it was last moved a few years ago! Then sat with good intentions I guess , just picked it up last night. It’s a bit weird that there is at least 3 Annie’s around northern AB and BC, but cool all the same.

Here you go, posted today!

Asteroid Annie and The Aliens, 1980 Gottlieb: 1700
The game is sold in as-is condition, backglass in good condition, cabinet is fair, head needs work in below average condition, playfield in decent condition, game has not been tested, does not start, all components are in the game but maybe some connectors loose, some wires loose or severed. Not really sure what is wrong with it, needs a tech to go over it to have it working.

Goin Nuts, 1983 Gottlieb: 44000
Working condition, playfield in need of restoration, cabinet in good condition, head in good condition. Prototype rare Gottlieb game, less than 10 avail. For serious collectors of rare pinball machines and arcades in need of an ultra rare attraction.

I picked up a Williams Full House a few weeks ago and a Williams Star Pool today. The Full House needs some electrical repairs and the artwork re-stenciled on the cabinet. The Star Pool Seems to be working and needs some of the inserts leveled and new rubber.

May not be pins but today was a good day. The Sonar I grabbed at request of a fellow pinsider, and while I was making the run I snagged two more. Not sure yet which one I’ll keep and which I’ll sell.

I’ve been mainly into 90’s dmd golden era as of late but decided to add a newer Stern to the collection and very happy I did!

I know there’s been some hate with this one but my pro is flowing awesome, the new code is great, and the music and call outs don’t get better in my opinion. Not a bad looking pin either.

It’s an early build date but QC seems ok other than some slight clear chipping at the ball trough which now has Mylar

I’ve gotta say, I’ve played one that was “ok” and another that was very impressive and a lot of fun. Based on the good experiences I’ve had with a nice version of this game, I would love to own one. Game condition makes such a huge impression to me whether I end up liking it or not.

I reached my “limit” today by filling a room according to my wife. She pretends she cares even though the multicade ended up in another room There’s always room for more. Realistically I just need to swap everything over to the bigger room and then she will pretend to be mad when I bring another one home.
