Quoted from Ballypin:Not home yet from my first trip to York but picked up a bunch of parts and this sweet little Zale zipper masterpiece Mini-Zag. Shout outs to Ivan ivan1496 for working with me on this deal and Bruce znet for his expert testimony to convince me that I really need game number 17. Here are the obligatory truck pictures.
Colson- are we even now ?

Wow. That looks to be an exceptionally nice MiniZag example. Backglass and playfield appear to be excellent. Also, if the main cabinet's graphics are on par with the head's condition, that's fantastic!
The other Minizag was worth the asking price for its nice backglass alone.
Quoted from Ballypin:York was crawling with zipper flipper games and I even had to zig past Mini-Zag # 2 in the flea market area. I almost bought this one instead but the cabinet had a not too good repaint. Good enough that it didn’t take long for it to be gone and out the door right after lunch on Friday. $475 was the asking price but the seller offered a bit lower.

We grabbed the Minizag #2. Set it up this afternoon, and it plays great! One playfield switch was stuck and a couple other switches need adjusting. We'll repaint the cab after a while. Fun game, rounds out our collection nicely.

Congratulations. You got a bargain. Post a photo of the illuminated backglass. It appears to be a beauty.
Quoted from KSUWildcatFan:Not really a 'bring home' kind of deal but my previous pickup FINALLY made the trip downstairs to join the row. My friend drove up from Texas to make my alien poker his first pin, so he helped me take Space Shuttle downstairs while we were at it.
Feeling like this will be my lineup for a while going forward (especially since I cleaned out my lead with the meteor/EBD/BK2K/High Speed pick), unless something crazy pops up I guess. Still need to hardtop High Speed (working on it) and EBD later this year/early next. I've got enough to keep me busy for a while.[quoted image]
Cracking line up!!

"Minizag #2" from the York show. Haven't replaced any bulbs yet. Playing about 98%. White spots are reflections.

That is a fantastic BG, colors are bright and crisp, nice pick up!
Earthshaker unexpectedly joined the System 11 lineup after a buddy passed on it. I had been saving up for a Star Trek Pro to change up the line up a bit but the price was right and its a game I love so had to pull the trigger. Upper GI is out but otherwise in great shape!

Was this the $2500 one in Madison? I had inquired about that one but never heard back from him...
Got back at 4am this morning and here's the stuff I brought back from York. 2 Continental Cafes and a Flip Flop from ibuypinballs Thanks Pete. I didn't get a pic of the FF.
A big time project Drop a Card but the price was right (free)Thanks JimFNB. Also not from York but picked up in Oh on the way there, a new cab for my project WW from Quartereater. The last big piece I need to get started on that.
And made a trade with gdonovan for a Gottlieb Hots Shots. This was in the pic with the Flip Flop I didn't take lol.
Also bought a Ready Aim Fire pf and traded skip a couple of parts games for a Buck Rogers and Flip Flop pf and a better cab for the D a C

That's a busy show!
Quoted from dc2010:That's a busy show!
Yes it was. Plus bought Pinball Pool, FP II bg's and 5 Spinners from Mayfair. Got a set of side blades for WW and my wife bought a set of the pinball placemats. Felt like I was running around most of the time but enjoyed it all.

Did you bring the Bell Ringer home? Was tempted to make an offer after my Black Jack sold. Tough to give up my limited space for a one trick pony though.

I hear you. Yes I did. Considering taking it to Expo if it doesn't sell before then.

Already fully LED'd Secret Service, what a light show!

DE had some of the best light shows ever. I like Time Machine as well.
Quoted from woody76:DE had some of the best light shows ever. I like Time Machine as well.
I think SS might have a better show than TM, I think I had triggered a jackpot shot and for a second or two everything went nuts and I lost track of the balls.
Time Machine is why I sought out a Secret Service even though I never played one, the gameplay, audio call outs & sound and lighting are excellent.
I picked this up 3 weeks ago but was waiting til it got to its true home. Had to repair/refurbish cabinet and do a tuneup
and replace some sockets/bulbs while I had it in my garage. I've been a PTA for 25 years and worked with special needs adults for the last 20. The owners of the day program I work at agreed to let me bring this awesome game to work to use in our rehab dept. Its a big hit and I love sharing my pinball passion with my patients.

Williams Blackout! SS a Mother’s Day gift to the wife it has been restored to working order by MJM Amusements in San Antonio Texas. It was a long process that started the week after Mother’s Day 2019.

I see room for 2 more in there
Well, it’s been a while since I’ve posted in this thread. I really haven’t been buying or selling all that much. However this one came up and I figured why not? Unfortunately, it didn’t have the door handle launcher so I’ll be on the lookout for that (or a reasonable substitute as I know the originals are unobtanium).

Hopefully you or a friend can pick up a door handle launcher from one of the parts vendors at Expo this weekend.

Great game right there, regret selling mine bigtime

I'd honestly be surprised if this part was available at expo. Unfortunately, I can't go this year as it's my wife's birthday and we have other plans...however, if anyone from the Milwaukee area is at expo and happens to find the door handle launcher for tales from the crypt sitting on a vendor's table - grab it!
Thanks,
Dave

Dave, I know a few that people had one in their parts stash a while back. I’ll reach out and see if one of them still has one.
Quoted from Colsond3:I’ll reach out and see one of them still has one.
That would be awesome. I'm amazed at how often you find this game and the launcher is missing. It makes you wonder what happened to them? I guess it's possible that it's been broken off because it sticks out a bit but it seems to be missing more often than you think it would.
I appreciate you checking for me.
Dave

“Damn I bet this is expensive to replace... better take it off for safe keeping”
*loses it or throws it in some box of random crap*
That’s how I imagine 90% of operator hacks.
I finally cracked into that Freedom I picked up.
Turns out it works 93% the wire just broke off the kickout solenoid so the ball never got served up! Everything fires and counts. Only remaining issue is the saucer switches don’t do anything, and someone butchered the chime unit pretty badly, even though the simple jones plug to unhook it is directly underneath it.
Will probably be selling it since I have the Super Straight to work on.
Quoted from Isochronic_Frost:“Damn I bet this is expensive to replace... better take it off for safe keeping”

I did ask the guy who owned it if it was there when he got the game. He said it came to him that way and he bought the game from a co-worker 10 years prior. Unfortunately, I can't trace the lineage any further back than that to see if the guy that he bought it from took it off...oh well, at least I've got a lead on a possible replacement thanks to @colsond3
Loop the Loop is pretty cool with that spinning bumper, a feature originally found on Chicago Coin's Spinball released shortly after Kilroy.
Congrats!
Quoted from jaytrem:Nice looking Loop the Loop! Was that the one in York?
No this one was about 20 mins from my house. Much brighter pf just wish it had a better bg.
