Brought home this beat to hell MMPM last week for $150. Replaced acid damaged MPU - Check, Ordered rebuild parts for S&T board - Check, In the process of the big job of repainting the playfield - Check. If the previous owners were properly educated on machine maintenance the Playfield could have been saved. I was hoping for awhile that I'd come across a good project.... be careful what you wish for, I'll be happy when this one is done!

Well,
I brought home a $1400 pinball machine today folks.

Full disclosure, I did have to pay a bit more. No in car pictures because the seller actually delivered.

It looks like it should clean up well, not a terrible looking pin considering its been on route. . . but I'll let you be the Judge of that.

That looks great, congratulations.
And the reds on the cabinet are not all faded out!!!

One of the best games in a while (ACNC)

Only put a couple of games on it, but I think you're right...I'm very impressed so far. Early reviews had it as a clunk fest, but im already hitting all the shots fairly well.

Yeah, I've only got to play 10-12 games on ACNC but it was a blast. I'll get one once the price drops a little more.

Picked this up for $100. He said it didn't work, but when I got it home and plugged it in it worked fine. Near mint backglass, ok cabinet and s bit of a rough playfield. Should clean up pretty good though and can't beat the price.

Embyon intrigues me, have to give it a try again next time I'm down at Colson's. Only had a chance to play one and it was sluggish and always like to give a fair shake.

#13713 4 years ago
Quoted from Colsond3:

Definitely. Played about 10 games, but it was sluggish and a ton of bulbs were out.
Wasn't getting the full probing experience Embryon can offer, so I ripped it apart from the pops down. Half done the shop job now. Cleaning up nice!
[quoted image][quoted image][quoted image]

Wow. That took you all of 14 months to replace the one you sold me for a great price. I don’t know where you find the time to wheel and deal like this

Thanks! It’s a well cared for original, still has the original bulbs and even some rubber. The cab is pretty close to perfect. The playfield is very nice, but shows some mild dimpling over the years. The legs have some tarnish, but I’m going to get new black legs and levelers. The rails and bar will be black powder.

They're going to have one at Pincinnati show I think, if you are close to Colson you could attend and play all you like.

Great...much tighter after some cleaning and tweaking. One switch issue with the left drop bank scoring sporadically, but I’ll get to it.

Was Sunday but it sure was nice to put frank next to his brother from a different mother.

Also it's a data east cab frank.
Different playfield art and colors, some differences in plastics as well. And note the launcher plate is handcut but original.

Not really a 'bring home' kind of deal but my previous pickup FINALLY made the trip downstairs to join the row. My friend drove up from Texas to make my alien poker his first pin, so he helped me take Space Shuttle downstairs while we were at it.

Feeling like this will be my lineup for a while going forward (especially since I cleaned out my lead with the meteor/EBD/BK2K/High Speed pick), unless something crazy pops up I guess. Still need to hardtop High Speed (working on it) and EBD later this year/early next. I've got enough to keep me busy for a while.

Great lineup man

Thanks! It helps when you get a jumpstart like I did from someone who had great taste AND is selling off cheap. My last two purchases (WCS94, SS) were basically full-blown retail (also both 8-11 hours away) but they were both very very high on my list. Now I've got a lot of work ahead to get EBD and High Speed up to par!

Hi - Yeah one of Mike Chestnuts last doors before he passed.
Had this door for 5YRS waiting for this game.

#13734 4 years ago

I've got some bronze stuff from Mike on my WCS94. It's gorgeous stuff. Now I need to sack up and buy the rest of the pieces to finish it off.

Don't think I can do the coin door (for this game, at least)--it's just too gaudy for it, in bronze. Going to go with this texture again, like I did with my MVS on all the metal parts. The chrome door looks great on Lebowski!

Super nice score, again. Totally jealous!

Well, It may not be a "real" pinball machine, but my 3 granddaughters did one heck of a job making me one for my birthday! Pop Bumpers, Pinball ready to shoot out, Flippers (and flipper buttons on the side, ok gumballs, but they looked great!) Yeah, the score reel is the birthdate!

So these little ones know something about these machines already! Had to share!

And no, I will NOT trade it for any game (Ok, maybe half of it is still left if someone needs a sugar rush!)

Not home yet from my first trip to York but picked up a bunch of parts and this sweet little Zale zipper masterpiece Mini-Zag. Shout outs to Ivan Ivan1496 for working with me on this deal and Bruce ZNET for his expert testimony to convince me that I really need game number 17. Here are the obligatory truck pictures.

Colson- are we even now ?

York was crawling with zipper flipper games and I even had to zig past Mini-Zag # 2 in the flea market area. I almost bought this one instead but the cabinet had a not too good repaint. Good enough that it didn’t take long for it to be gone and out the door right after lunch on Friday. $475 was the asking price but the seller offered a bit lower.
