No new machines this weekend but I did make a three hour (round trip) drive to grab a bronze lock bar/rails/legs set for my world cup 94, along with a slew of parts I really didn't need lol. Rails will take me a bit longer to install but the legs and lock bar look fantastic. Still need to order the rest of the trim pieces and whatnot to finish completely bronzing it out. I opted to use the chrome legs from WSC94 on my high speed since it had nasty non-original/spray painted legs to begin with.
I'm probably out of the machine buying game for a bit unless a deal I just can't refuse pops up. I like the lineup I've built (Eight Ball Deluxe, Meteor, Space Shuttle, World Cup Soccer 94, High Speed).... For now..

Not full restore. I fixed it up, shopped it, put a new ramp in it and passed it on to him.
Right now just working on my Halloween game and restoring an Amazing Spiderman. (and 3 other projects)
I was absolutely thrilled to pick this up yesterday. Put my old Wrestlemania Pro towards it as partial trade and drove just under 4 hours each way with my kids yesterday to complete the deal. Came with an unused brand new plastic set and extra ship motor too. I loved JJP Pirates from the first time I played it, but I never thought I would be picking up one of these anytime soon. It will keep me entertained for a long time to come. Super excited to have it in the lineup.

Hows the pac-man coming along? I assume thats one of the projects..

Nice and original! I like it!
Also can be convenient if not far from the related machine
Brought home a The Champion Pub last week. I've wanted one for years, so I had to go for it when a local Pinsider had it for sale (thanks, Matt!). Love it, and it's really different than the rest of my lineup.
Been a long time since I last picked up a game. That was just what I needed

NICE, needs a scrubbin' though!!!

Sure does! I just shopped one a couple weeks ago that looked like that. It was 4 hours of work.

For sure! The original owners NEVER wiped it. The pin is mint otherwise..
A quick wipe and wax so I can play it before a full shop.... Thing smells like dirt weed, like bad bad..

Right.. Crazy. - The first pin I won't lose on, was a killer deal!

How many plays were on it? It prolly wasn't touched since it was opened.

My only other Stern was a LOTR.. I don't know how to check that.. but will.. - The batteries were dead (one was missing), no leakage.
It came with the goodie bag even.

People literally don't know how to get the glass off. The first pin I ever bought, the guy said "some bulbs burnt out, didn't know how to get to them"

Yep, the glass on this has been on there for a LONG time.. Weed particles under the lockdown bar, dirt weed that is.
I didn't know dirt weed was still available??, but this guy had a blazing hog leg in his mouth when I grabbed it. Rock on dood!
Anywho, sorry to muck up this thread with dirt weed talk.. - The pin was a score, worth 10k at least after my wipe down! (JUST KIDDING PP)

Lol,yes dirt weed is still around but rare tho like a guy having a star gazer or somethin

A lot of operators are like that too. At least they act like they have no clue how to take the glass off LOL
Quoted from woody76:What's a high speed project worth, little playfield wear and musty[quoted image]
About......three fiddy...
,Lol , just kidding, does it boot?
Quoted from woody76:What's a high speed project worth, little playfield wear and musty[quoted image]
And with the hardtops being easier to get, the pf wear will be a thing of the past
Quoted from Happy81724:Picked up firepower this morning. This will be the oldest pin we have ever owned. It will be interesting how the family likes it especially with getting Deadpool this week. I heard good things about firepower, excited to play it![quoted image]
Was just fixing and playing last night. You won’t be disappointed. Easy to see why it sold so well. Tons of action

Love some embryon
Quoted from Tbpilot78:She sure looks sweet, good game
Dumb luck to be at the right place and time. Just have to rebuild sound board and it looks solid.

I can’t believe you find so many good pins near you.. great work..
At least we get to see them on here

I love both those games. Two of the best 80s Ballys imo. Super jelly on that pickup Colson. Was just playing them both last week on location.
Quoted from woody76:Love some embryon
Definitely. Played about 10 games, but it was sluggish and a ton of bulbs were out.
Wasn't getting the full probing experience Embryon can offer, so I ripped it apart from the pops down. Half done the shop job now. Cleaning up nice!

Easy enough, from the pics it looks very well kept

All the lights work, not a single one burned out which has never happened! Mylar on the playfield, backglass is great, minor scars on the cabinet and coin door. Fix the sound board and clean & adjust some switches and it will be in the lineup. Someone gave it some attention which is a nice change of pace.
