Just brought home this classic, with an awesomely weird theme. Gotta capture the drug rat!

Technically brought home Tuesday. Picked it up on the way to weekly pinball league on Tuesday night. The plan was to take it out of the truck Wednesday morning. Well two broken daughters cars on Wednesday and that didn’t happen. Finally off loaded tonight reflowed some header pins on the MPU and she’s working. Still have more to do but glad she boots up and cycles through a game. (1 car fixed, looking like fuel pump on the other)

What a crazy-looking game! How is the gameplay?

Awesome man! Transporter rocks. Not one you come across every day.

Quoted from mark532011:

Played one at Pintastic last year and Allentown the year before. It’s a funky game, but the shots are actually very gratifying. Ramps are huge, and the shot off the upper right flipper isn’t as easy as you think.

I have a translite...all I need now is a game to put it in.

Has great ramp shots. I have only seen 2 ever and the second is in my house. Got to play a super nice one a few years ago and have wanted one ever since. With what I paid for it and the $600 in parts I just ordered plus several hundred more when freeplay gets the ramps done I will probably break even on it one day if I sell.

Not that one, this was down in the Philly area. Been in my search results there for a few weeks. The NH unit has much better pics.

Here is the link to the Philly unit, gone now.

Not mine but had a roadtrip today with a very good friend and a SS followed us back to his home

Tomorrow another roadtrip planned for a White water.

I had one many years ago and have regretted selling it forever. This one's not nearly as nice as the one I had but it should clean up well and I won't make the same mistake twice

Brought home Satin Doll two weeks ago, reattached her head today.

#13426 4 years ago

Satin Doll isn't everybody's cup of tea for a theme - but that is a fun game to play. Almost bought one at a show a couple years back.
Fun EM to play.

When you get that going and playing you will enjoy it. Fun one.

Picked up a ghostbusters pro today. I’m pretty pumped. Anyone got any ideas on why the back box lights light up when I first turn it on and then go off and never come back on?

[edit] I reset the factory settings and they came back on.

I landed one of my grail pins this weekend. Like most of my pins, this one is a project, and it’s going to be a major one at that. This poor pin has been passed around like the village bicycle. I’m the third owner in less than 60 days. However this isn’t as bad as some pins I’ve restored... let the parts collecting commence!

uncivil_engineer Wow, Kudos to you for taking on this project. The play field looked ok from the pic but the inside cabinet pic is for sure a project. Hopefully you got it at a good price where you can invest and at least come close to break even!

Picked up this gem yesterday from Silverball City in Johnson City, TN. It looks like it was owned by another operator back in 2013 based on some receipts I've found in it.... but it isn't beat to death like most Machines I've seen, it is one of the nicer examples I've come across.... and I suspect it has had various ramps and plastics replaced in recent times... some stuff looks brand new.

Spanish Eyes. I bet the paint is preserved under that crazy custom job. It probably could be removed without sanding? A lot of work either way...

Spanish Eyes they are! I think someone dropped some acid then went to work with the (black light) paints and topped it all off with THICK glossy varnish. The mess was REALLY thick. Runs all over. The flipper buttons stuck in their housings. I was going to take a picture but wanted to forget instead things like the plunger barrel spring. It was so coated with the varnish it didn't move. I had to hammer it loose from the rod. As you could see, they didn't remove the legs or anything before painting. Besides all that, the game had been in storage supposedly 10 years. I did get it working before stripping things down. The backless and playfield are fair. It'll be a nice player. I needed a project!
