Yes, Pinball any day over fort nite!!!!! You're a good dad!
Quoted from Pin-Pilot:Yes, Pinball any day over fort nite!!!!! You're a good dad!
ABSOLUTELY! My 14yo son, like many of his other friends, is all eaten up with Fortnite but he has the pinball bug now... as do a few of his Fortnite friends that we introduced pinball to. It's like a whole new discovery of a non-virtual, completely physical world. Love it. Congrats on the TZ! I'd love to have that one.
So, a Bally Flash Gordon pops up this morning on Facebook marketplace 4 hours away for 400 OBO. What to do ? I messaged the seller and we came to an agreement on price and I get on the road. The whole time I’m driving there he’s telling me he’s getting higher offers. Duh.611C4FB8-825D-4B21-BAC0-7A8E4104C5E8 (resized).jpeg
I did end up paying the seller more than our agreed price since it was in nice shape. Full mylar on lower and upper play field. A little bit of wear at the kick out hole and in the upper play field where the ball enters the field. MPU looks clean but not sure if it boots. The BG has a few scratches in the upper portion that can be easily touched up. Bonus is that it includes the strobe light.

You want to play it like that Darrin? I likewise was on a journey today and just got home. It was a long drive, and kind of creepy. I think the house was haunted.
Goodie bag still intact. And your game wasn't tagged by Rick Brochu on 11/1/1989.

Ha ha. I knew it wouldn’t take long for you to see that comment. The rest of us are just pathetic earthlings trying to keep up with your activity.

Nice score! I saw that around 9:00 this morning but figured it was gone already (or would turn into a bidding war). Glad to see it was in nice shape!

And your game is on my wishlist too. So the point goes to you. Wish I could find a cheap FG.

No, but mine has a smiley face. After looking closer at the Flash logo, it’s very similar to the naughty sketch that was all the rage in junior high. It’s just missing the hanging male appendage.

Excellent pick up! Get color DMD for that game. Definitely worth the upgrade on TFTC.
It’s been a long time since I could post in this forum. Can anyone identify this “wide” body pin. I fit a wide body pin, one unpopulated playfield and seven populated playfields in my Toyota Highlander. When I get home I’ll start a How much pinball related stuff can you fit inside your pin hauler forum.

Like @colsond3, I was lucky enough to bring home a haunted house this weekend. It’s in great shape and plays beautifully. Backglass needs to be sealed up to protect from further damage, but I can live with its condition for now. I’m excited to get it down stairs and added to the lineup. Here’s a few pics from the previous owners house.

Not too bed lol. Selling BK2K nearly paid for the other three. I've got some work ahead on all three from her though.

Congrats on the High Speed ! And A great hauling vehicle Tacoma!
The Tacoma has been great to us, for sure.
I'm not looking forward to fighting this high speed. It's very grumpy lol

Grumpy? lol There is a good thread on High Speed here on Pinside. I recently bought a High Speed and there is lots of good info. Brought mine back to life and playing very well, just making final tweaks. Cabinet needs some paint however. Looks like your cabinet is very nice. I need top replace my coin door. it is quite rusty! What is being grumpy on your new find?
Won't hold settings for some reason. I've tried a slew of different batteries, all of which should be good.
And my P2 and P4 displays won't work no matter what I do.
The good things: it seems to play fine, with the caveats above. One of the pops isn't registering all the way around and needs some adjustment, or maybe just repositioning on the spoon. The glass is minty and the cab is pretty damn nice. The PF is kinda ugly but not atypical for high speed I don't think. It's 'good enough' until the hardtop gets here.
I suppose I'll send all the boards off to be gone through and bulletproofed ($200) and I'll figure out what to do with the displays. Hopefully I can keep it under $1500 with all the work done to it. That'd be nice.

Don’t rush off and send your boards out yet. We can probably fix it cheaper. Displays are most likely outgassed.

Fix it bill fix it!
Heh, I don't think it necessarily needs boards rebuilt but it never hurts.
It does let me work through settings and then play fine.. Just won't save them once I turn it off. Bleh.
